A girl determined to do it on her own. The two men who'll give her everything she never knew she needed.
Lexie grew up in a tough environment, and when she escaped, she thought things would be easier. They weren't. And once again she's found herself in a situation where she has no money, no job, and nowhere to live. Maybe her mother was right and she wasn't meant to make it on her own.
Markus and Oliver are a perfect pair. Unidentical twins that are the opposite of each other, and yet perfect compliments. The bone of contention between them however is whether they'll share a mate or not. Ollie doesn't care and will take anyone Fate delivers to him. Markus is determined to stay single forever, believing what everyone says about him- that he's not made to be a husband.
But when Lexie literally runs into Ollie, their lives become intertwined and Markus will have to decide if he wants to risk his heart on a woman fate chose for him, or not...

Spoiler warnings - Good for a short book. The spice was nice (though there was no after care or enough prep for the backdoor play). The characters didnt even use protection or think about how it could cause a pregancy??? There was almost no plot. Too fast paced. Honestly, this felt like Marcus's book more than ollies. Ollie was written as an after thought. The background bf. They had no relationship building or character development. Pretty flat. It was instant love trope. Even though marcus struggled to accept that. I didnt like that Marcus did go to Nacys house to see if he wanted to cheat and then got mad his mate thought he was cheating?? Also, a shifter with a fevor? When he could have just shifted and healed like he did when he was found? I dont like how in the end, the FML and the mother in law from hell are friendly after all the mother in law said and did. I also didnt like that the 3 years later character was again only about marcus. No ollie. Felt really bad for him. He was written like an afterthought. And the book mentioned their little sister but never showed her. Never showed pack life. The wolves shifted in broad daylight outside and ran with the FML on a bike in public and didnt get caught? It never said why fate paired them with a human. It never got into their pasts or traumas. The only thing I did like about this was the plus sized rep. Even tho i didn't like how marcus first thought about her. I wish a real plus sized girl was on the cover. I wish this book was longer, more developed, and more ollie!
Well, I binged books 1-3 in one sitting, so obviously I’m here for book 4.
“I don’t want to settle down … I don’t want a mate. I especially don’t want to share one…” Cut to 3 seconds later and he meets his fated mate. Fun stuff!
Written in first-person POV, alternating. Present tense.
Oooh this got off to an infuriating start—and I loved it!
Wolf shifters. Fated mates. Curvy girl lead. SA. Small town vibes. She’s homeless. Instalove. A villainous mother-in-law. Search & rescue. Found family.
Overall: Still loved it. I don’t always see series through this deep, often they’re just all the same and there’s no need. This one though, they do have much in common, but I love the characters and the worlds enough that I’ll see it through. It’s fun!
4 stars
🎙️ Audiobook: This narrator is great, and growing on me more, the more I listen. Overall sound quality is great—4 stars.
MMF fated mates: Twin brothers are always fated to be with the same woman. I loved how the two brothers had different personalities, though I would have liked to see a little more spicy scenes with the sweet brother. Maybe there were more with the bad boy brother because he needed convincing to mate forever. Spicy.
