This is narrated by Virtual Voice. Well, I smirk at how it pronounces QAnon and Pizza (as in "gate"). Otherwise it is fine -- not as bad as the worst human narrators but not as good as the best human ones. However, I am suspicious if the author John D. Connolly is just writing the books with AI and even his image looks like AI. (Irish Goodreads Author John Connolly is a different person.)

This short work of five chapters covers "Shadowed Alliances: Unraveling the Russian Collusion" as documented in the Mueller Report and built around the meeting that took place at Trump Tower in New York City on June 9, 2016, between three senior members of the 2016 Trump campaign – Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner, and Paul Manafort – four other U.S. citizens, and Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya.

Chapter 2 is "Unveiling QAnon: Inside the Conspiracy Alleging a Deep State Battle". QAnon seems so quaint, now. Whatever happened to them? They're here because of their belief Trump was going to initiate "The Storm" and all that malarkey.

"Entangled Fortunes: Untangling Trump's Business and Presidential Decision-Making" and "Silenced Voices: Unveiling Alleged Voter Suppression in Trump's Rise to Power" are my two favorite chapters here and the meat of the book, IMHO. I feel there should be more focus on how Trump uses the office to enrich himself and improve his family's fortunes as well as the BOP coordinate effort to deter voters.

The final chapter, "Temporal Intrigues: Unraveling the Alleged Time Traveler Influence on Trump's Ascendancy" covers conspiracy theories out there that Trump is a time traveler. Wow! Somehow, I had missed that one! It seems to be based on a happenstance name coincidence in the writings of Ingersoll Lockwood.

An In Depth Evidence Based Account Of One Of The Most Controversial Figures In Recent American History

This is a very in depth evidence based account of one of the most controversial figures in recent American history. The author goes through in detail the main aspects of Trump’s presidency and the effects he had both nationally and internationally. It begins with the allegations of Russian collusion and how it may have effected the 2016 election. Also how such conspiracy theory groups such as the big one, QAnon had an influence on the elections and their relationship to Donald Trump who they consider their saviour.
The author also speaks about Trump's business dealings and how that affected America’s policies both nationally and internationally especially with Trump's relationship with the likes of Russia and China
The author doesn’t miss out the biggest controversy of all. The allegations of voter suppression and voter fraud especially in the 2020 election and the author investigates in detail the implications for both sides.
Lastly it mentions a conspiracy theory that I have not heard about the issue of time travel and whether advanced beings could have manipulated Trump’s rise to power. However outlandish that sounds, I am still amazed by the author’s detailed investigative and rational analysis of the theory offering scientific arguments that can both debunk and strengthen the theory. All in all this is an unbiased and evidence based, thought provoking account of one of the most controversial and enigmatic leaders of America and is written in such a way that is easy to understand. I applaud the author for tackling a difficult subject.

Provatelo!

Collusion, conspiracy, intrigue and time-travel!

When I purchased this book, I was interested in the analysis of the Trump story. Little did I know I would also get a dose of time travel!

We’ve all seen the news coverage on Russian collusion, QAnon conspiracies, Trump’s business dealings and presidential activities, and alleged voter suppression. However, the time-travel angle is not one you will find in the mainstream media (or even most smaller markets). I found this part very entertaining.

While the AI-written feel is present here, I suspect that AI may have been used as a tool but was not the sole component of this book.

John Connolly’s presentation of the data in this book is well-organized and concise. I would have liked to see a bibliography and citations for the data used in this book. However, despite the lack of sources, the book was entertaining. I might not take the facts as gospel, but it was enjoyable for sure (especially the conspiracy and time-travel stuff).

Definitely pick this up if you’re interested in some fun political non-fiction.
