I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect when I started reading Tokyo Nobody, and while it certainly delivers on the noir thriller atmosphere, the story felt darker than my personal taste. The mood was heavy throughout, and at times it overshadowed the plot itself rather than enhancing it.
Unfortunately, I found the entire story a bit disappointing, and parts of the overall storyline were difficult for me to fully believe. While the writing style and tone may appeal to readers who enjoy gritty, shadowy narratives, I struggled to connect with the characters and the direction the story ultimately took. That said, fans of dark noir thrillers may find more to appreciate here than I did. I expected more to the overall story plot with greater details exposed to the reader.
