Statutory Warning: This review discusses author behaviour in a negative way.

Enjoyable (though extremely poorly written) story of a real life gold heist, written by the mastermind, of people living in sewers and crawling through excrement for days on end in the greed for gold.

Just proves that people will go through any amount of shit, if money is available at the other end.

Also, I do not know whether I can stop from commenting on author behaviour in this book review. The author is a convicted criminal, sentenced in absentia (because he escaped) to life in prison. Throughout the book, he makes his contempt for the law evident.

It is because he is such a lawless son of a bachelor that he was able to carry out this EXCITING robbery and write this FASCINATING account of it.

Goodreads, in their policy of supporting all authors despite their personal history, presumably supports this gentleman also.

I do not know whether the book is still in print, but if it is, buy it from Amazon, please. Who knows? It might inspire you!
