Blew through this one in one night. A fun romp in the sand, through Red's bar, and riding with Skip around the island. With Dan recently finished with his stint in a mental facility, you can imagine what happens after he finds a body buried on his beach, but it disappears before the authorities get there. They believe him though. Yeah, right!

So, pour yourself a tequila, seven, and lime and buckle up for another whiplash adventure with Dan, Red, Skip & the crew. You won't be sorry!

Double trouble

Good turn of events in the last part that I should have seen coming but didn't. Typical Coast's tale with sarcasm and boozing at the peak but this one actually made sense. I will have to be more alert for the next one.

Dan Dan the Tequila Man has more cases than an airport carousel. He has two brothers, a long-lost sister, and a disgruntled husband to contend with. Dan is still in self-destruct mode and pushing his luck with his girlfriend to the breaking point. Add to that someone ran over his dog—a recipe for the perfect storm. Great banter and sarcasm between all involved make this an entertaining and enjoyable read

Double Trouble: A humorous crime story.

This book by Rodney Riesel has Dan Coast doing and saying some outrageous things. His character talks the street talk with a slant that is at times very funny.

Interesting but a bit cliché

Lots of misspelling and incorrect grammar. It's hard to read when you're trying to guess what the word should be or sentence mean. I read the same plot in an older Key West thriller by a well-known author.

Dan Dan Dan

I haven't quite decided yet if I like Dan or not (and I really should know by now, book 5). I know he is damaged and I'm hoping he can be saved. The book is good but I will take a break and pick up in a week or two.

Another twisting novel

Understated humor, a whodunit with great believable characters. The references to the keys add to the attraction of this book.

Too Easy

Thin plot and too easy to determine the real killer. Some high points but overall not up to the quality I expected from this author.

Buddy

This is a good story with some changes to Buddy and Dan. Maybe it will all work out for the good.

Dan does a double case.

Typically Dan Coast. Mouthy, smart a... This is a good story. Lots of action and a twist for an ending. Going to read another Rodney Diesel book.

Another fun tale from Dan Coast. The drunk detective does it again with a little more control and a little less booze, Dan finds a double murderer while showing cheating spouses what’s up. Every time I read a coast story I feel like I take a trip to the keys. It’s a well written plot (if a bit predictable with fun characters).
