With a title, 'Shades of Hot Pink Romantic Adventure', One could not mistake this for a cookbook; and a dedication to loving couples, a solitary pleasure. It is, however, a recipe book: 28 recipes in fact to re-ignite slumbering passion.

This is poetry used to effect to express and empower sensuality and joyous carnality.

Scarlett D'Luge shows consummate skill in use of language to evoke imagery and emotion. If variety is the spice of life, this is very spicy indeed.

From Adventure 1, the scene is set.

"Just you and me
Alone
Loving each other,
Wanting,
Needing,
Caressing and frolicking naked together"

There are 28 adventures for loving couples, 28 opportunities to explore and experience the reciprocal joys of intimacy and exploration: each a delight in themselves.

Ms D'Luge's poetry runs the gamut of the delight of physical pleasure and role play ('Good Girl Seeking Bad Santa') to the emotional satisfaction and gratification of feeling loved and desired.

"I arise in chimerical anticipation
and follow you there.
I am garbed in a translucent gossamer gown
glistening with the dew drops of the night air.
I am cold, and feeling naked,
but you take my hand,
and gently lift me to my feet
as you smile."

“Shades of Hot, Pink Romantic Adventures” consists of twenty-eight loving, lustful poems to brighten up your sex life. Scarlett D’Luge writes with passion, teasingly tempting her readers to lasciviously seek sensual fulfilment with their partners and spice up their sex lives. Scarlett takes us on a journey of erotic pleasure where satisfaction is to be had with a little imagination. Her two poems “Somewhere in Eire” and “Somewhere in Ireland” pull us into a mystical and fae setting as she weaves fantasies of love. The touch of Gaelic language in ”Somewhere in Eire,” makes her dream of drifting into the mists of a fairy kingdom, along with the gods of yore come to life. Although most of Scarlett’s poetry is written in blank verse, her “a Knight in Shining Armour” is in almost traditional ballad form and is particularly evocative drawing us with poignancy into bygone chivalric days…
Yet I dreamed of my brave Lancelot,
the man who seeks my heart,
and loves me desperately indeed,
not wanting us to part.

Loving spirits temporarily parted are touchingly portrayed in “Missing You” which includes an alphabet of desire and need.
