The topics covered will help the reader to quickly start building mobile applications, desktop applications and websites that use REST services for back-end processes and Angular on the front-end. It contains twelve chapters and many code examples. All the code for this book can be downloaded from GitHub. It covers a broad range of topics related to Angular development. Some of the topics covered include Angular basics, Angular components, directives, services and security. Other topics include MEAN stack Cloud applications and Angular search engine optimization. MEAN is an acronym for MongoDB, ExpressJS, AngularJS and Node.js. It is a hands-on project for the reader that starts off with Angular basics in chapters one and two. As chapters progress, the reader will work on a blog application using Angular and REST services. Near the end, the reader will complete the blog application as a MEAN stack application using REST services and deploy that application to the Cloud. All through the book I encourage Angular best practices and time saving software development concepts and techniques.
