This is a book of manners, on what to do and not to do when invited somewhere, or hosting, etc. From bringing new underthings in case the staff empty your case to how to seat the guests appropriately, there is plenty of good advice. I am not sure it is all so necessary now, and the internet has done away with some of the content. There are many light tales to illustrate points or warn of bad guests.
I like that a lot of the stories are about Ireland.
