This book talks about the sun and how it is important to us and our environment. The book starts off with explaining the difference between day and night, which talks about how it is warmer during the day because the sun is up and how it gets colder after the sun sets. Then the book talks about seasons and the weather and how it looks during different seasons. Then finally the book talks about why the sun is important. I gave this book 5 stars because it is very informative without being too wordy. I also liked that there were side by side pictures that showed the difference between day and night and between fall and winter. There was also a project at the end of the book that teachers could use for their students. I also noticed that there were little squares that described each picture. There were also words in bold that were also in the back of the book where the glossary was.
