Gloria and Adriano story which is told from a dual point of view. The story is interconnected with characters from the previous book making appearance and contributing to the story. A well written story with complex individuals and a twisty and fascinating storyline that grabs the reader attention from the beginning and keeps you hooked and turning the pages with it's pulse-pounding suspense, twists and turns and mystery. It was then that he told her that he was talking about her real father Domenico Vipera. He tells her that he was a dangerous man and that they were getting signs that he might be back on the scene. Which totally confuse her until he explains that he was in organize crime and in the mob. He was a major player in one of the most influential families in world The Diamantes. She didn't have a clue about the mob because her mother kept her away from all aspects of her old life and never talked about it . He leave her his business card and a picture and asked her to contact him if Domenico reach out to her. She was reading her mail and was overwhelmed with all her overdue bills and an eviction notice even though she wasn't behind. In a fit of rage she swipe all her mail on the floor. It was then that she saw letter with a V on the seal. It was a letter from her father telling her that he had been looking for her entire life and that he would like offer her an opportunity. In desperation Gloria called her father the next day and the went out to eat. She found out that he had taken care of all her credit cards debt that her step-father had left her with and step her up with money to last her a lifetime. And she was able to pay off her sister's schooling without him knowing. Dom wanted her to come and work for him because of her financial knowledge.
Domenico Vipera is now the new Don of the Diamante. He stole throne from under his brother. He had vanished years ago, then reappear with an army and funding and cut them off at the knees out from under them. Now he's reduce in doing grunt work like he use to do when he was eighteen for Don Giancarlo. Adriano had to fake his brother Aless's death and hide him and his pregnant wife, giving him the honor of coming back to Dom to prevent a manhunt of his younger brother and himself. Adriano came back to get close to him to see what he's up to with his family organization. He's supposed to be his second-in-command. But he keeps him busy with street work that the lower level guys could do. He would happy doing it if it didn't keep him from watching Dom. He's trying to play Consigliere to a conniving madman who doesn't want his advice. Dom is greedy, unpredictable, insanely smart and he seems to anticipate his every move.
Dom tells Gloria and Adriano that they would be getting married which would bring the families together like it was supposed to be. Gloria believes that Adriano was her dad's pawn and she could not trust him and he believes the same thing about her. Ever since the two got engaged it was cat and mouse game with both of them trying to one up the other while fighting their attraction. The two is in this arrangement for their own secret ulterior motive with Gloria playing a role of subservient to her father to prevent him from finding out about her sister. And Adriano working to find out Dom's plans for his family organization so that he could get it back. Dom had arranged for marriage between the two because he wants a heir and he's holding the knowledge of her sister over her head to get what he wants. These two rivals will have to learn to trust each other in order to take down their shared common enemy Domenico.

Ever since getting engaged, Adriano Diamante and Gloria Vipera have been in a game of cat and mouse where the banter is gold and their attraction to one another is undeniable. But with both of them in this arranged marriage for their own ulterior motives, they struggle to keep things business only and fight the fire that burns between their hearts.
“I never want to stop falling. Like this, or for him.”
I’m going to start off by saying that this book was HOT. I don’t know what Lisa Cullen puts in these books but it’s just so addicting and binging the entire thing is the only way to go. Their chemistry was crazy hot. The spice was spicing, their levels of humour matched each others with perfection and it was clear that they would do anything to be loyal to one another. The plot of this entire series is also really intriguing and while it’s just getting started, with the events of Deception, Dominance is where the true power struggles kick off and loyalties get tested. But one thing is for sure, these two complete each other wholly.
Gloria was just so interesting to read. She’s a total chameleon, willing to blend in and do anything to ensure the survival of her and her little sister. She’s not above manipulating situations and has an analytical mind that I really loved about her. She has this grit to her that was fun to read and made her a worthy adversary for her mafia man.
And Adriano, I certainly was not expecting how soft and kind he was. He was such a tough guy in Deception, the voice of reason so seeing him falling in love, head over heels was wonderful. He’s a smart man, hardened by his world and yet Gloria brings out a new side to him. He gets flustered, says things that are out of character for a man like him, and finds himself actually WANTING to be in this arranged marriage. Ugh, I truly loved him and his growth a lot!

I’m really looking forward to the third and fourth book. Mafia politics aside, the twins make me laugh and smile really hard everytime they’re on page so reading their books will be such a highlight, they really can’t come fast enough.

Anriano and Gloria. Anri and his 3 brothers were head of the family until Domenico Vipera re-appeared with an army and backing to de throne them. Now his older brother and wife are in hiding and hes trying to protect his twin brothers. Glows has a sister that no one knows about in a private boarding school. She has two jobs, trying to go to school, drowning in debt (not her own), paying her sisters tuition and now an eviction notice. She and her mother have been running from her father, Dom, since she was little and she thinks her father is de@d. Her mother is gone and her father has caught up to her. Dom has arranged a marriage between Anri and Glows.
Cute and enduring banter between sisters. Both sides have family in-Hiding. Keep your enemies closer and under surveillance. Evil and calculating. Chemistry. Can they trust each other since both have an agenda not knowing how close their agendas are. Everything happened so fast. Secrets. They both have their own secrets wondering who to trust. Never alone always lonely. Hidden doors. Humorous situations between Anri and Glows. His brothers banter. Brotherly love. Sisterly love. Anri and Glows coming together to fight for their family. Very entertaining and intriguing read. Couldn’t put it down. Full of mafia chaos and the twisted road it leads with secrets and lies.

She grew up with her mom and had no idea until recently that she was a mafia princess. When her dad comes to claim her, everything changes. He isn’t the dad you dream of, he’s only interested in using her as a pawn. He arranged for her marriage to unite mafia families and is using her sister as leverage. He is second in command to the Don, and Just informed he will be marrying his daughter. These two do you have chemistry, and get very steamy when they get going. There is also some humor in their relationship as they tease each other. Both are keeping secrets to protect their family and they have to learn to trust each other, it helps when you have a common enemy. There is an additional arc of mafia family drama that is pretty central to this book. There is a lot going on and they have a lot to navigate in the story besides just building a relationship. At times that spelt a little like a “blue-collar mafia“ story with some of his reactions, especially considering what is on the line. I personally enjoy a little less drama with my romance, and don’t want to bounce so hard back and forth unless it is steamy. It was an entertaining read, and I did enjoy the two main characters.

I enjoyed Adriano and Gloria's story. Adriano is the second-oldest son of the Diamante family. He is second in charge to Domenico Vipera. Gloria is Dom's daughter, living a secret life in France, where she protects herself and her sister, Anna, from their stepfather. Dom finds her since she is his daughter, and she returns to the States. Then finds herself in a forced marriage with Adriano. Adriano finds himself protecting Gloria and himself from Dom, who is becoming dangerous with his unhinged mental state. Despite being forced into an arranged marriage, the two find themselves increasingly attracted to each other as they spend more time together.

I am addicted to Lisa Cullen books. And I will openly admit it BECAUSE. THESE. BOOKS. ARE. AMAZING.
I'm a slow reader and I absolutely raced through Dominance. I couldn't devour it fast enough. Needing to know everything I could about Adriano and Gloria. As fast as possible.
As with the other books I've read by Lisa Cullen the main characters in Dominance are just off the charts brilliant.
Gloria is all 'take charge but no prisoners attitude' and Adriano brings the big emotions to the table, making for an exciting match.
And exciting these books are. Probably not good for heart health, the way they make it race, but oh so thrilling.
I can't wait to get my next book fix by LC.

The action-packed drama starts right from the beginning with Gloria and Adriano. Her mother kept her away from her father for a reason but after her mother dies, she is contacted by him, and it starts her path with Dom and Adriano. This is a heart-pounding tale that mixes acute apea, emotional depth along with unexpected twists and turns into a story that will be hard to forget. Gloria and Adriano had me connecting and cheering them on to finally get their chance for happiness.

This is the second part of the Fractured Diamonds Saga. We are taken into the lives of Gloria and Adriano. Their story has several tropes such as forced marriage, age difference and a few other tropes. It is a raw and emotional story that keeps your attention from the beginning. I enjoyed their story and can recommend it to everyone to read.

Dominance is the second book in the Fractured Diamonds Saga and is definitely a series best read in order for context. This was Adriano and Gloria's surprisingly intense book and I enjoyed every second. Well written characters, sizzle, steam, action, drama, twists, turns, and so much more. This was a 4.5 star read for me and I can't wait for book 3.

There are many moving parts to this story that captured my attention. Adriano and Gloria are both caught in the crosshairs of a power-hungry man willing to do anything to keep and expand it. This was an action-packed story with suspense and danger that drove the plot forward with intensity and spicy moments that added complexity.

Dominance is book 2 in the Fractured Diamonds Saga and is Adriano and Gloria's gritty, intense story. It's a steamy forced/arranged marriage, age gap, enemies to lovers journey that keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Their journey is intense and dramatic, chaotic and consuming. Dominance is an absolute must read!

This is the second book in the standalone series. Gloria just trying to find her footing in a world she is thrust into once she finds out her dad is the New Don...Domenico Vipera. When her father arranges marriage between her and Adriano. This book had me second guessing everyone and loving the twist and turns in this book. It make me excited for the next book.

Adriano and Gloria's story is dark, dangerous and full of smexy goodness. She is his boss's daughter and his soon to be wife in an arranged marriage. But that doesn't stop them from getting to know each other and having to run the gauntlet of Dom's emotions. I hope there's more books in this series.

This book was not good as the first. Thus MMC was a bad ass in the first book. Never smiled and talked very little. He always planned what he would do in the situation. I didn't recognise him in this story. The MFC was well written. She played the part until she could come up with a plan to get away. The twins only had small roles in this book.

Dominance
I enjoyed Adriano and Gloria’s story. There’s lots of intrigue. Plenty of emotion and misunderstandings.
There were some inconsistencies. Things that were brought to light and then no one seemed to remember they already knew that. I gave it 4 stars but I’m still excited to read Ciro’s story. He’s such a character.

Too much hilarity.
This all got a bit Keystone Cops with multiple cross & double cross going on. It got hard to know who the FBI were using as bait or target. It was decidedly silly by the end, especially with a bratty kid thrown in for good measure. Everything bar the kitchen sink!

Quite the mafia’s story, it has it all, danger, suspense, betrayal, strong characters that keeps you glued to your seat. The love story between Gloria and Adriano is a great one mafia’style

This was okay. It had a lot of potential but fell a little flat for me. I did like how the FMC knew how to use a gun at least.
I'm going to take a break from this series. It's such a shame because I really liked the twin brothers and their books are the next two.
