My primary guide to South Africa! Fodor's travel guides have not let me down yet. A full color guide with space in the margins to write notes (and I write plenty of notes) with very comprehensive information on where to go, what to see and eat, when to get there, how to survive while there, and so much more. Good information on which locations to consider, and some "Fodor's Choice" for options that are particularly good. It also gives a good brief history on South Africa, highlighting the apartheid struggles and emphasizing how those events shaped the country. It gives information on safari tour guides, things to look out for, and many other bits of information. Looking forward to using this during my time there!
