A ruthless king. A shocking contract. And a trapped bride.
Born to rule, Maharaja Ram Devara doesn’t forgive or forget. And now, the ruthless royal has stormed back into Sanjana’s life, binding her to a contract and dragging her to his palace as his queen.
She vows to hate him. And schemes to escape. But every move she makes, he blocks with ruthless precision. He claims her in public and seduces her in private, breaking down her resistance.
Their marriage is a battle of wills, a war of passion. And as hate and desire collide, she knows she must break free… before her heart betrays her and she craves being trapped by the maharaja.
A royal contract marriage romance filled with power, obsession, and dynasty family drama.
This book can be read as a standalone romance with a satisfying ending.
I dnf-ed it...I had so many expectations from this one but I'm really so disappointed...I read till chapter 36 and there has not been one normal conversation between the leads till now...the FMC keeps saying she wants to escape the marriage and the MMC keeps saying no (that's literally their whole conversation every time) all while they are getting hot with each other...and ik it's fiction but she was literally using helicopter to go to her workplace daily (environment be damned)
And why was this so cringe..like the Queen having kids with four maharaja's from four corners of India😭 (I really wanted to drop the book there only)
Weirdly, since last year I’ve been reading Kasi’s books around this time of the year. I’ve enjoyed a few of them but this one was a miss.
The overall story was fine but the characters had zero chemistry. I did not see them falling for each other, especially sanjana who up until the entirety of the book was trying to escape being the Maharani. I did see Ram caring for Sanjana as a husband but I did not see/feel him falling for her. He did not even confess it to her directly, he informed his mother that he loved her while Sanjana was standing there.
My main issue is the mother. I would’ve given it two stars otherwise. Because wdym his mother allegedly did all the bad things in their life like breaking them up by getting her own sun drunk and whatever shit show happened afterwards, then hiring people to kill Sanjana… She did all these and they did nothing as a response. They SIMPLY FORGAVE HER. 🙄😒 Although she didn’t do all those things but according to y’all she did and she basically took the responsibility by hiding the identity of the person actually behind all that but y’all don’t know that…. Cut her off from y’alls life man !!! It could’ve been like a great scene where they reconcile in the 4th book of the series when the actual culprit would’ve been caught.
Trapped by the story Yet another mesmerizing story from the author MV Kasi. Though it's an well explored troop the author have crafted the story neatly and made us fall in love with the leads from the beginning. Despite being predictable, the storytelling kept me hooked and made me read in one sitting. Loved the story of Ram and Sanjana now waiting for the stories of his brothers. Dear author please don't make us wait for long.
So much wasted potential. Can we stop using the "I hate you" nonsense already. It not only sounds stupid but also reads stupid. The whole misunderstanding could've been sorted out in 5 seconds instead this whole ridiculous drama had to be played out.
Love reading MV kasi s books . This was also very entertaining the tussels between the determined Ram and stubborn but golden hearted Sanjana and their coming together MV kasi waiting for more
