Windy Edge Farm
Webster's Walk
Webster the farmyard duck has a plan. Hot weather has dried up the duck's pond, so Webster decides they will walk to the river! The farm ducks are happy among the wild river birds, but when a storm comes they long to be back at Windy Edge Farm...Another charming tale in the classically popular Windy Edge Farm Series. Featuring Jill Dow's unique soft watercolour style, the gentle text evokes a rural elyssium that appeals to young and old alike.

When the duck pond dries up the ducks go in search of some nice cool water. This wasn't enjoyed quite as much as the other books in the series. But some nice illustrations and a good beginner reader for children who love animals and the countryside.

New book for todays nighttime reading for my daughter. Still too small to have a proper attention span for it but she does like pointing at the animals.
5/5 for my enjoyment. Nur would probably rate it 3/5.
