An ideal text for new writers as a starting point

Wow, first book I have found that was clear and concise to the point. I have been looking for ages for a book that would give a clear outline in stages how to write a book. Very motivational. Only downside is it doesn't really explain how to write from a past experience, true life story but it has given me a heads up on how to start writing. It is a fairly short read which was ideal and the book always referred back to what has just been read. I would recommend this book to a novice writer or someone just starting out like me. I did find from reading there was some errors in the text but it didn't effect the overall read.
