It was good, as far as textbooks go. I learned a lot. The class was pretty hard and there was a lot of reading and discussion posts but I'm glad I took it! (kind of???)

P.S. taking my government final tomorrow, wish me luck :P

As college texts go, this one was really great. I learned a lot about politics, the history of this country and running for office. I didn't realize what an interesting subject politics and government could be. It spurred me to become involved more with school politics and office and I won the office position of Treasurer for one of our student organizations recently founded. I am excited to delve into my new political role and be a role model for students. I recommend to all those interested in government, US history of government and learning about politics. Great book!

I read this for an entry level course which serves as a required gateway to further study. The information was basic: I learned little that I hadn't learned in a high school government class 25 years ago. I won't say that it's a bad book, given the right audience it might be enjoyable and useful. But that was not my experience.

Everything was easily broke down. Not something I would read because I want to.
