The murder of the wife of a wealthy real-estate developer leads police detective Christine Boland on an investigation that leads into the center of national politics and reveals long-hidden secrets about a fifty-year-old crime. Reprint.
I just don't know. Parts of the book were rivetting, parts were just blasé. The writing style was different; the majority is written in the third person but in the present tense (not my preference) and some parts are written as monologues. I really didn't like the ending. Psychologically, there should have been a much better explanation for the main character's behaviour. I don't want to give spoilers.
