I was very disappointed in this text. I was expecting some depth and history. What I got was a numbered list with very simple explanations, no references or sources. It very vaguely reminded me of an encyclopedia, if it were a series of tweets, meaning you need to get the info out in 140 characters or less. It is set up to make it seem as if it is written in Yiddish and English, which was also something I was interested in for a family member, but due to the overall simplification and seemingly ai or chatbot/chatgpt written manuscript, I don't feel as though I could trust that it is accurate. It certainly did not seem like it was written by someone who was knowledgeable on or even interested in the subject. I do not recommend this book, nor this author.
