I loved this book. It was a great read. It was short, sweet and definitely a steamy read. Loved that Rowan was head over heels in love with Ophelia. Definitely looking forward to reading the next book

WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Rowan and Ophelia met when he comes into the diner to grab something to eat. Rowan and Ophelia are shy around one another. When one of their friends notices how they act around one another she gets the idea to set them up. Rowan is asked by his friend Jax to help Ophelia out with her porch. So Rowan agrees and goes to Ophelia's home to check it out. Rowan tells Ophelia he'll need to go to the hardware store and buy some supplies. Ophelia is thankful that Rowan is help her out so she heads to the grocery store to buy things to make Rowan a pie. When Ophelia's friend catches her at the store, she tells her to just let Rowan help her out. When Rowan comes over to fix Ophelia's porch she gives him the pie. Rowan is thankful Ophelia made a pie for him. Rowan gives Ophelia the planter boxes he made for her to put on her front porch. When Ophelia washes up the dishes Rowan walks to her and grabs her turning her to face him. Rowan then kisses Ophelia, she tells him she wants him. Rowan takes Ophelia to her bedroom where he makes sure this is what she wants. Then Rowan pleasures Ophelia then they make love. Rowan tells her he loves her and Ophelia tells him she loves him too. Rowan plans to spend the rest of his life showing Ophelia how much he loves her and she plans on keeping him to it. Ophelia is Rowan, always and forever.

This book is part of the multi-author Sexy Lumbersnacks series featuring the short and steamy sweet,age-gap, insta-love, grumpy lumberjack, small-town, curvy waitress romance between Rowan and Ophelia. Rowan has had his eyes on Ophelia ever since he moved to King Mountain he's drawn to her shy,sweet smile and Ophelia's sexy curves have Rowan driving to town to hang out at the diner more frequently then he would care to admit. Rowan thinks that he's too old for her though and that she deserves a younger guy he doesn't know that Rowan has a huge crush on him. Then a well meaning friend decides to give Rowan a little nudge by asking him to fix Ophelia's broken porch and he doesn't even hesitate to agree. Rowan almost loses it when he sees Ophelia in her tiny shorts and tank top the chemistry between them is red HOT! Will they finally get together now that they're spending time with each other thanks to some meddling friends? You really need to read this short and steamy sweet,age-gap, insta-love, grumpy lumberjack, small-town, curvy waitress romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book as well as the other books in this wonderful series.

She works at the local diner and has been crushing on the local handyman. Her friend tries to convince her that the feeling is mutual, but she has no experience and doesn’t trust it. So her friend gives her a little push by having him show up to repair her deck. He has had his eye on the curvy little waitress, and when he shows up at her house the flesh on her cheeks tells him that it is mutual. This is a short story format. You do not expect complex character development, or overly detailed plot lines. You get just enough for their here and now. Things get a little steamy when they recognize their mutual desire. This is not a stand out story in the genre, but it is sweet and reliable. A happily ever after is certain.

This was a sweet story with two main characters that were both self-conscious about approaching the other about their feelings, of course there was also some spice included.😉 Luckily they live in a town full of busybodies (who like to offer their 2 cents even when not solicited) so they do end up with some direct alone time with him fixing her porch. Honestly, they are just too cute. Alot of inventory being taken, yet no action. Just what will it take to really get these two together?
This storyline had me smiling and reminiscing.Rowan and Ophelia were a great match if they could get past their initial hangups.

Ophelia has had her eye on Rowan for quite a while. She didn't how how to come up to him to talk. When her porch needs fixing and Rowan gets volunteered for the job. It turns out to be a great thing for both of them.
They shy innocence of the two is almost endearing. They both want reasons to see each other. Also no idea all their friends can see how crazy they are about each other. They are so genuine in their feelings you can help but have a llittle aww moment or two.
They create quick the steam as they give into what they are feeling. The insta love is sweet, full of heat, and a beautiful HEA.

Ophelia and Rowan have mutual crushes on each other but nothing happens until matchmaking friends push the two together. The whole town is rooting for the two to become a pair, nothing happens until his buddy, Jax and Leesa come up with a way to push them together. She needs a porch that needs mending, and he is just the man for the job. Meanwhile, her friends are encouraging her to make a move.

The only problem he has is constantly thinking of her and looking at her when he thinks she isn’t looking at him. Will they admit they love each other and want to be together? Thank goodness for good friends, if left to their own these two might have gone years before doing anything about their feelings. This is the sweetest story. Ophelia has been pining over Rowan for a while. She doesn't know it, but he has been doing the same for her. This is where nosy friends come in handy! I really enjoyed this short read! It was such a fun experience, and I had a blast diving into it.
The characters definitely know how to heat things up, and their chemistry was fantastic. I thought the writing was smooth, and the storyline was pretty engaging too. Overall, the characters were wonderful!
