كاتب وشاعر ومترجم مصرى. تخرج في قسم الفلسفة جامعة القاهرة عام 1994، وعمل بالصحافة التلفزيونية والخبرية. أصدر ثلاث مجموعات شعرية من بينها" قصائد العطلة الطويل، الكتب خان 2018.
وُثلاثة كتب قصصية من بينها يونس في أحشاء الحوت، الكتب خان 2011. والحائز على جائزة ساويرس لكبار الكتاب. ورواية واحدة هي : قانون الوراثة، وقد حصلت على جائزة ساويرس أيضا فرع الأدباب الشباب عام 2005 وترجمت إلى الإنجليزية والإسبانية. وترجم عددًا من الأعمال الأدبية من الفرنسية والإنجليزية. يعيش منذ عام 2010 في مدينة إدمنتون بكندا
Yasser Abdellatif is a writer, poet and translator from Cairo, Egypt. He has lived and worked in Edmonton, Canada since 2010. He has published four fiction books, three poetry collections, and translated many literary works from French and English into Arabic. Some of his works have been translated into English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
His debut novel, The Law of Inheritance (2002), won the Sawiris Prize in 2005 in the young writers category. His collection of short stories, Jonah in the Belly of the Whale, won the same prize in the category of prominent writers in 2013.
