Recently I got to know about Sunaina Aggarwal’s book Whispers of Romance from Instagram! When I checked it out on amazon, it intrigued me.
So, when I ordered and it got delivered, I fell in love with it. It is a very very thin short book but full with lovely threads of love woven through imagined conversations. There are two sections- Tweets and Chats.
It is like each page captures the magic of everyday moments between lovers with heartfelt words and tender, soul-stirring conversations through tweets and messages.
Just check my slides out. You will get a glimpse of what it has. There are 9 tweets and 10 short chats in total.
Sunaina Aggarwal, a graphic designer and poet. She blends art and poetry to evoke the warmth of love’s quiet moments which can be definitely observed in her book.
The tweets and chats are in hindi written in english words and later translated and described into english sentences to be understood. Each page is high glossy. Though when I received some of the pages were uncut or joined, but I quickly separated them.
All in all I think it makes for a very cute and lovely gift to be presented to your lover or crush which definitely has power to make them smile and feel the warmth of their hearts in their's as well.
Pair it up with some cute scented candles and few candies and put it all in a bow! And tadahh ! Young lovers are going to cherish it for sure!
I have added the link in my blog and story for this book. Do check it out.
Whispers of Love is a collection of tiny, pocket-sized love letters which read like little poems, drenched in affection and devotion of lovers worldwide, talking and trying to convey their sentiments to their loved ones.
What's unique and sets it apart from other such labours of love is that Whispers of Love is not an evidence of personal love but a tribute to the lovers globally. Aggarwal has penned a heartfelt tribute to the emotion of the love itself.
Another thing unique about this collection is that it's a poetic rendering of WhatsApp or text messages shared by lovers. So you might have written something ordinary but the author translates it, like a love scribe, to an attractive and deeply-emotional poetry. In doing so, she draws upon the essence of the words and not merely the words themselves, extracting out the emotion, distilling it, sprinkling it with a piece of her heart and then embellishing it onto paper for your eyes to savour the most personal and yet universal emotion- love.
Loved these lines- 'Hasrat hai aur hasrat bankar hi rahegi haqeeqat ban gayi toh sambhale nahi sambhlegi'
And these are translated as- "It is a longing meant to remain a longing, if it were to become reality, the depth of love it holds might become too heavy and profound for my heart to endure, knowing it can never be truly mine."
• 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐀𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐥 captures the essence of Gen z. What love is actually for them. As a member of Gen Z, I'm an old school. So I will take your love letters, handmade cards and your small gestures. That's cute and somehow unforgettable. But also as a gen z, I would appreciate it if you take time from your busy schedule and write something nice to me. If you're missing me, damn just text me.
• It matters when someone makes up for you from their busy schedule and it also matters for them if you appreciate their efforts. The heartfelt words, sweet gestures call readers to give a fresh start to whatever is going on. The author is just crafting some heartfelt stories according to this era but it is passionate to look back at those memories.
• The memories which we have all created while making the love path for ourselves. The short tweets and chaos are our constant reminders - they're giving us giggles or maybe we're also getting those similar Pinky messages. Like right now if I'm telling you that someone is living his or her Pinky life, then that is not a false allegation - isn't it?
• The chats are cute, short and can melt your heart- if that's what you want, then this book is for you. This is one of the shortest reads I've ever taken. And that's what I'm suggesting this book to you too. I feel more than anything else this one is the best gift you can ever give to your partner. It's a short gesture towards him or her.
• So, if you're into your love era diving high with smiles and laughter, then definitely don't think twice about taking this book. 💌🧋🥂

- Be someone’s poetry, as anyone can become a dream.
‘Whispers of Romance’ is a cute collection of tweets and chats that takes you through a journey filled with intimate moments, heartfelt emotions, tender thoughts, and affectionate romance.
This collection brings forth the beauty of romance in the most mundane and simple moments, and since most of the tweets and chats are in Hindi (English translations are included as well), the emotions and feelings within the lines felt closer to the heart and much more relatable. The collection, even though impersonal, is bound to resonate with each and every soul that has at least once experienced love in their lives.
To add to the charm, there are even cuter illustrations drawn throughout the book, which had me giggling at times.
