Excellent Lenten Companion! Walking with Mary during this season into Holy Week gave me a fresh perspective on her role in my faith journey and drew me into a deeper relationship with Jesus. Father Mark Toups’ prayer prompts were beautiful way to enter into conversation with God and I especially enjoyed praying the rosary with Mary by my side. The family sections each week were a wonderful addition!

I highly recommend this companion!

Great Lenten devotional given to me by a friend- amazing, liturgical and theological insights written by this New Orleans priest- I wish he wrote books as well as devotionals, I want to dive deeper with him into this material in book format. Great reflections, family activities and prayers, points to ponder, and room to journal! Home run!

A bit repetitive, focusing on beginning a devotion to Mary, which is the very reason I have stayed in the church. So it was like preaching to the choir for me. It was a journey based on assumptions about what Mary might have said, done and felt. Prayers and quotes were inspiring.

I appreciated the author’s thoughts on Mary but found the reflections to be somewhat repetitive (which I guess praying a rosary is also 🤷🏼‍♀️). It served its purpose of setting the focus for Lent though.
