I was given an ARC of this book and I enjoyed it because of the determination of Taylor, the overall dynamics and elements of magic.

There's a race against time, the monsters are at the heels of Mistfalls...

This was a well-written and fast-paced fantasy with plenty of action and a sense of place. The supernatural is the norm and a believable story.

Engaging, entertaining and satisfying.

This was a satisfying ending to the series but, in some ways, I have felt cheated by this series of books because of the bad proofreading that has seemed a signature to the series. For instance, in this book, Isabel's face is "awash with moonlight filtering through the misty air" when the action takes place in a room! These books were being published quite quickly, and I think they have suffered because of this. The drive to get them published has taken over from the need to produce a quality product.

Evil unleashed!

The vault is open. Cal's betrayal is complete. Isobel realizes the truth too late. Taylor and Jesse need everyone from Mistfall and beyond to fight the evil he has unleashed. If they fail the world will fall.

This is a fitting finale. It is filled with paranormal action and drama. I received a few copy, but my review is honest and voluntary.

This was another wonderful and magical vampire book by Morgan Rice. She is a master story teller in this genre and has created an awesome book.
