You Don't Kiss Your Brother's Best Friends

Rate this book
My brother Jason’s best friends have always been sinfully hot, and entirely off limits.
Until the one scorching night I could have all of them.

My Greek vacation is utterly miserable; a solo distraction from a disaster back home. But when my brother’s best friends show up out of nowhere? Taking me back to a mysterious island mansion is the last thing I expect.

The breathtaking manor is the perfect playground; remote, empty, and thousands of miles from home. So when a poolside kissing contest ends in a three-way tie, with me as the prize? The only fair thing is to let them all have me… in every way, shape, and form.

What happens at the mansion stays in the mansion… that is, until their employers show up with a deadly plan of their own. Turns out my new lovers have been working for some very dangerous people. But as skilled ex-Marines, with an axe of their own to grind? I end up right smack in the middle of their plan to get even.

Kayden is the roguishly handsome high school crush I’d almost gone all the way with. Bishop is the strapping soldier who made me swoon every time he came home from deployment, and Andre is the ripped, tattooed monster - and gentle giant - as hell-bent on protecting me as he is at getting revenge.

Can the four of us forge a loving future together, even stronger than the bonds of our past? Or will a lethal group of vicious mercenaries figure out what we’re trying to do, and bring it all crashing down?

You Don’t Kiss Your Brother’s Best Friends is a military reverse harem love story filled with heart-pounding suspense, thrilling action, and so much sweltering heat you’ll need to sit on a cooler of ice to read it. HEA guaranteed!

First off, I have to say, but I think you being on Goodreads you already know this. Don’t believe a fucking word these so-called five star bitches say. They have been bought and paid for with stupid ARC‘s. They always promise to give you the honest truth, even though they got the book for free. But they never do, it’s all lies. You and I both know that. They always give the author five stars, no matter what, sometimes they’ll even pretend to be honest by giving it four stars, but it’s always lies. They only do it because they feel obligated to were asked to or lie so that they will keep getting free books

That being said, I feel like all of this author’s books are either hit or miss more often than not they are miss unfortunately.

And this book was the same. It was a miss for me.
This book was jampacked with action and I feel like I was actually reading more of a dude book rather than a romance book. I do have to give kudos to the author because the plot was actually better than any other book that she had. Again this book was an action book 1st and foremost.
There was little to no romance whatsoever.

And unfortunately,it had one of the main things that I hate about the books by this author when they are a miss.

It had the lazy and dreaded referred to sex scenes rather than actual sex scenes. And what I mean by that is when the leading lady is referring to the most amazing mind blowing sex she’s ever had, teasing us by letting us know that she last night and for the past few days had the most mind blowing sex in every room in the house and in every position you could imagine sometimes with one or two or even three men.
But that’s it. It’s only referred to and alluded to and sometimes reminisced about. But we as a reader don’t get to experience any of it. We don’t get to read those amazing hot scenes. We just get teased mercilessly with what we would’ve wanted so bad but we’re not getting as a reader. It’s an easy way to fill a romance book and to be extremely lazy as a writer because in doing so she doesn’t actually have to write those amazing scenes she can just allude to them
Well, I for one as a reader don’t put up with that shit and I don’t think I’ll be reading her books again. When I read a why choose book I want hot and sexy and plentiful sex scenes. I don’t want to be teased by the author.
Sure, there were some and by some I mean very few actual sex scenes but again they were more narrated if that makes any sense then us actually living through them in the moment. It’s hard to explain, but if you read the book, you’ll know what I’m talking about.

It’s a shame because the writing itself isn’t bad at all, and I always like the men and the leading ladies that this author writes. OK, not always but often. But I feel like she could just never figure out the balance right and she almost always ruins the sex scenes with the lazy bullshit that she pulls.

I’m disappointed to be completely honest

Oh, and before I forget, there was also OW in this. And I feel like the author often does that. She’ll have the men in her books lust after an ex or in this case another woman in this book. Sure the leading man in question was only doing this as part of the job. But even another one of her men said that he had to enjoy it because she was so beautiful. How could he not? I honestly feel that it added nothing to the story or the book whatsoever. The author could’ve left that out and it wouldn’t have ruined the story in anyway whatsoever. I’m honestly not sure why she put that in there. Maybe to shock or annoy the readers? I really don’t know why one of the leading ladies men had to have this thing going on with another woman in the story. It really wasn’t needed at all and made no sense in the end. I just felt bad for her when she had to see him, kissing that lady or kissing and playing in the pool together. So again all it did was piss me off as a reader which pretty much happened in the majority of this book, I was just disappointed and annoyed more than I was entertained.

I feel like the only person that would enjoy this book is someone who loves a whole lot of action. Doesn’t mind not really having many sex scenes even though it’s a why choose book. And loves to be teased by something that happened, but that she isn’t privy to.

If you’re not that person, you’re not gonna enjoy this book. I’m just being honest. I personally wouldn’t recommend it to someone who is looking for romance or why choose.

You Don’t Kiss Your Brother’s Best Friends

Warning!

.
.

Spoilers ahead!

You have been warned.

Oh, baby. I sort of thought it was coincidence but her brother set up the whole surprise meeting. He better be prepared for the outcome.

I’m really liking the fact that all of the characters, aside from Andre, have a history and it’s not filled with drama. The story is just starting and they’re so comfortable with each other.

Jocelyn has a lot of internal thoughts. I mean she’s getting literally jackhammered into the mattress and blathering on in her head like it’s normal.

I’m not used to RHs with hints of jealousy sprinkled amongst the men. I’m hoping they can grow out of it.

Andre is the epitome of a giant. I don’t know why but I can’t help but to read his lines without giving him a slight Russian accent.

Kayden and Bishop sure aren’t worried about what Jason is going to do when he finds out. You can clearly see they’ve loved Jocelyn for so long that this was sort of inevitable.

I’m honestly surprised that it took the storm to get her to return to the island. Does the timing suck? Royally.

Have they been reunited? Yep.

Is she totally in over her head? Uh huh.

Helping Andre weigh down the creep that tried attacking her showed that she certainly has a pair of lady balls.

What the heck was Victor thinking handing her over to that slime ball like that? Hopefully he’ll get his comeuppance. I can’t wait.

Freaking Evelyn. I was wondering where that … word I cannot use, was. Hiding in the weeds just like a snake.

Yes, yes, yes! Vengeance.

The epilogue was a nice glimpse into their future. Did she let her booty hole ex business partners off a little too easily? She sure did.

I liked the story. The action I anticipated was a wee bit lackluster. I’m not one for suspense but I was ready for the nail biting, hanging on the edge of my seat and it just … never happened. I mean the entire book is them preparing for this super important revenge meeting but then everything happens behind closed doors. I wanted guns and explosives. Would I recommend? No. Would I read again? Also no.

What's a girl to do when her business partners swindle her out of her life savings? The answer is obvious. Head to the Greek Isles to lick her wounds, dust herself off, and figure out her next course of action. What Jocelyn never expected was to be found in a restaurant while on Mykonos by her brother's two best friends, Bishop and Kayden. With the promise of a good meal, she follows them to a nearby private island and what ensues is nothing short of one night fulfilling every dirty dream she ever had about the two men she has secretly lusted after since she was a teenager. Add in the fact that Bishop and Kayden are not alone, that they have their business associate Andre with them to join in the fun, leads to a night never to be forgotten or ever mentioned to her brother, for what happens in the Greek Isles stays in the Greek Isles. ;) One night of sin turns into four incredible, life altering days. But all is not as it initially seemed. The men said that they are in Greece to work an important party- Kayden as Executive Chef, Bishop as an ex-Marine turned Sous Chef, and Andre as Pastry Chef. As the event nears and Jocelyn is unable to return home due to bad weather, she finds out that the party is one revolving around the men's desire to seek redemption and enact revenge. Danger is at every turn and with Jocelyn unexpectedly still in the house, stakes have never been higher. Will they be able to achieve their goals while keeping Jocelyn safe? Or will they lose the one thing they have mutually loved for years?

"You Don't Kiss Your Brother's Best Friend" by author Krista Wolf is a fantastic read! With interesting characters; a fast paced, twisty turny plot; and enough steam to easily melt a chocolate bar, I easily devoured this book in one read. I simply couldn't put it down!

Krista Wolf never disappoints. She is my top choice of authors in the RH genre.

From the very first page, You Don’t Kiss Your Brother’s Best Friends had me hooked—and let’s be honest, it had me blushing, too. Krista Wolf knows exactly how to deliver the ultimate fantasy: three dangerously sexy men, a forbidden past, and an off-limits attraction that explodes into an all-consuming romance. And let me tell you, this book did not hold back.

I live for a good brother’s best friend romance, but when you throw in three of them? And a heroine who’s always been off-limits—until now? Sign me up. Kayden, Bishop, and Andre are each lethal in their own way: Kayden is the smooth-talking heartbreaker, Bishop is the protective soldier, and Andre? That man is a tattooed dream who made my heart race every time he stepped onto the page. When a poolside kissing contest turns into a three-way tie, I knew I was in serious trouble—because putting this book down became impossible.

But what really sealed the deal for me? The suspense. Just when I thought it was all fun and games, the plot twisted—and suddenly, it wasn’t just about stolen kisses and toe-curling passion. These men were dangerous, but so were the enemies closing in. The action had my heart pounding, and the way these three claimed their woman while protecting her? Absolutely irresistible.

You Don’t Kiss Your Brother’s Best Friends is exactly what you need. No jealousy, no unnecessary drama—just three dangerously sexy ex-Marines, one unforgettable heroine, and a love story that burns as hot as the Greek sun.

One kiss is never enough

You Don't Kiss Your Brother's Best Friends is a steamy hot and deliciously naughty RH romance. The story is about Jocelyn, a young woman who has been defrauded out of her life savings by her business partners. She decides she needs to figure things out and decide what she is going to do next. So she heads to the Greek Isles, as all broke women do. At a restaurant in Mykonos she meets her brother's best friends, Bishop and Kayden. She ends up going with them to another island and there she meets a Andre, a business associate of the two. Let's just say that these four are hotter than the sun and will singe your fingers as their passion burns hotter. They have a night which will never be forgotten and that ends up turning into more days and nights of passion and fun. But the men are there to work, or at least that is what they tell Jocelyn. But there is more to the three rugged, built, dangerous and sexy men than they are letting on. One kiss is never enough and this book will have you turning the pages faster than you can lick your lips.

Really enjoyed reading Joclyn's story where whilst in Greece trying recover from the betrayal by her partners her brother 2 best friends turn up having been sent by her brother to check on her.
Kayden & Bishop were working on an island near she was staying so when their best friend asked for their help they agreed.
Joclyn's wreck of a life at home fades away when she embarking on a mega steamy times with not only with the 2 guys she'd secretly loved for years aswell as their friend Andre. Although there is a mega amount of steam a deeper emotional bond form between them but knew their timectogether was temporary.
There is a reason why the guys are on the island & are glad she has gone home safe but it doednt quite go to plan which sees the four of them embarking on a dangerous, violent mission for vengance against the guys molitary brothers who never returned.

There's so much to keep you drawn into the book you won't want to put down.

What can I say? Krista Wolf has certainly provided another story that keeps you on your edge of your seat. Jocelyn has discovered that her best friends and business partner have drained her bank account and left her with nothing, so she goes to Greece to rejuvenate and contemplate her life. This is where she meets her brothers, best friends whom she has been attracted to, and they have had crushes on her, most of the time they have known her, but maintained the bro code. Bishop and Kayden now feel they can show Jocelyn how they feel and invite their friend Andre into the relationship as well. As per usual with this authors work, there is always a hint of danger and always lots of steamy moments between the characters, there is a happy ending for all of the characters. I thoroughly enjoyed this story, and I am glad I had the opportunity to read this book.

This book is amazing! Jocelyn goes halfway across the world to escape the betrayal of her friends and business partners. She’s hoping to rest and recuperate but what she gets is an adventure she never expected. Enter Kayden and Bishop, her brother’s best friends. In Greece on a mission to right a wrong, they are tasked with taking her out and treating her well. I don’t think what they end up doing is what her brother had in mind but it’s just what Jocelyn needed. Especially when Bishop’s military brother Andre enters the mix. But is isn’t all fun in the sun when the reason the guys are there turns dangerous for them all. I love the way they all stick together and are able to get their happily ever after in the end.

I love a story that is fast paced, action packed with characters that are as real as they are interesting. I think this book contsined all of these key elements for me. Jocelyn is in life limbo as she figures out how to recover from a disasterous business partnership. She starts with a trip to Greece to get away and clear her head. Her older brother, Jason calls his best friemds to check in on her and maybe take her out to dinner to cheer her up. Bishop, Kayden and Andre are in Greece themselves for a job but have a couple days to spare. What starts with the best intentions quickly escalates as the twists keep coming and these characters find themselves with strong feelings for one another and a sense of forever in their future. Enjoy!.

Wow! This is my first ever 2 star rating for Krista and I’ve read all their books except 3 (2 now after this one) and I was hugely disappointed. I’ve always given 4/5 stars and they’ve never let me down before but this one fell completely flat. I wouldn’t class this as a romance book at all as it’s mostly just action, the lack of descriptive steamy scenes was infuriating. Sex scenes were mostly in reference of something along the lines of ‘last night they had me here or we went another x amount of rounds etc’. Those are the best bits that this author usually excels at so this was a huge let down for me. I checked the reviews after finishing this book to make sure it wasn’t just a me thing and I can see that some others are stating the same things, I’ve never had to check a review before a Krista Wolf book before and I wish I did as unfortunately this one was a waste of my time.

Krista does it again and is a RH queen! Jocelyn’s life is a mess thanks to losing everything! Trusting her business partners to only find out they have run off and cleared out her accounts. Needing an escape, Greece is the place to rejuvenate. Little did Jocelyn know her brother’s two best friends are there and tasked to take her out and cheer her up. Kayden and Bishop have been in her life since she was little. And the attraction has always been there. There is no time like the present to forget your troubles. Not to mention, Andre a fellow military buddy. This read is hit and steamy right off the bat. Bring in danger, secrets and a HEA.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Jocelyn, Kayden, Bishop, & Andre. Jocelyn has just had all her savings and her business stolen from her by her business partners. Now she can't pay the bills and is allowing herself this one last vacation before she has to figure out her life again. While there though she is rescued by a guy who won't take the hint that no means no. Kayden, Bishop & Andre never planned on rescuing their best friends sister. Now that they have seen her again they plan on making sure that she has a vacation she will never forget. Can they all find a HEA or will her brother make sure that never happens?

Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Three ex-Marines. One off-limits heroine. A Greek island getaway gone very right. Krista Wolf delivers the ultimate why-choose romance with You Don't Kiss Your Brother's Best Friends. What starts as a miserable vacation quickly becomes a steamy, no-holds-barred adventure when Jocelyn's brother's besties, AKA her longtime crushes, whisk her away to a secluded mansion.

Cue a kissing contest, off-the-charts chemistry, and a lot of trouble when their dark past catches up to them. This book is sinfully hot, packed with action, and dripping in forbidden tension, exactly what you need in your next binge-read.

Bro, code, be damned. Read this NOW.

Completely Unexpected

Jocelyn is furious and contemplating murder - her business partners cleaned her out, sold off her portion of the business and fled. In Greece to decompress, she’s invited by her brother’s friends Kayden and Bishop for a meal, which turns into a moonlight swim with a third friend Andre, which turns into a special night for all three. What starts out as a steamy romance pivots hard about a third of the way through and I LOVED IT! The tension is incredible, the suspense is intense and the violence felt just the right amount of scary to make the heroes more heroic. A great action-packed and steamy-hot read.

Action packed, steamy, reverse harem!!!!
This was a good read, that is fast paced and keeps you turning pages. The characters have chemistry and they are pretty hot together. I do wish Kayden had to grovel a little more about a situation. I also want to know what ended up happening to Evelyn. The world building was really good, as was the storyline. This was an enjoyable read! Some things I think could have been left out and I would have liked more, but just a preference. Recommend this author and book.

Steam & Action 5 stars. - Jocelyn got conned by her business associates. She even thought they were her friends. She was drowning her sorrows in Greece when Kayden and Bishop showed up to cheer her up. It turned out they have a secret operation in the area with their friend Andre. Jocelyn knew it was going to be a one-time very steamy and brief fling but nature has a different plan. That’s when action and danger ensued. She got pulled in and they really have to rely on each other. Good story with lots of steam. I received an advanced copy and voluntarily chose to review it.

DNF @31% p103/332 Chapter 20(Jocelyn)
This has been an ok book so far. They’re having a fun fling and fucking like rabbits.
But honestly. It’s probably just the mood I’m in, but I’m bored. And I don’t care to know how they finally voice their desire to make what they have more.
I also don’t really care to know what this dinner party is really about.
I don’t think it’s a bad book, I just personally don’t care about any of them. And that might be because we’ve learned next to nothing about them in the hundred pages or so I’ve already read.
I don’t know. I just know I’ve lost interest.

In true reverse harem storytelling this story will simply tickle your delight taste buds and leave you feeling moorishly devoured. A well created and thoroughly entertaining read with a nice balance of action, drama, emotional pull and angst, a sense of betrayal but ever so nicely wrapped up in some wonderfully heated romance moments. This author certainly knows how to entertain her readers.

Good storyline

Follow Jocelyn on her adventure of falling for e gorgeous men, 2 of which are her brothers best friends. After her business partners take her money and run, she runs into her brothers 2 best friends, Bishop and Kayden, while taking a much needed vacation, and also introduced to their friend, Andre. Little does she know what they're really doing there. There are a few typos throughout. With some good spice 😁🔥🔥

Another great poly relationship book from Krista Wolf!

Jocelyn is on vacation to get over what her two business partners did to her when she encounters her brother's two best friends, Kayden and Bishop, who are both sent by her brother to make her feel better. One simple competition on who can make the best burgers turns into a week of the three of them, plus the guy's friend Andre, sharing Jocelyn and enjoying life. But the guys are on a mission and need Jocelyn gone to know she's safe, only to have her get caught up in everything when her flight's canceled due to weather. So what happens when they all make it out alive and now have to go back to real life?

Jocelyn, Bishop, Kayden, and Andre get their happy ending in this standalone book.

It seems like Bishop and Kayden had crushes on Jocelyn for years, and only out of respect for her brother didn't do anything before now. I would have liked to have seen his reaction to their relationship, with how much it seemed to worry them all, but I can also see that wasn't the point of the book. I do wonder what their sleeping arrangements ended up like at their new home and if they continued to tag out every couple of hours or if Jocelyn had a schedule of whose bed she was in each night.
