This book is well-written, interesting, and a classic in the dream world. It is certainly an asset to any dreamer, especially those in the beginning stages of dreamwork who are searching for the method that works for them.
However, the method Ullman presents does not work for me. It is too structured, too involved with its many steps, and it feels a bit awkward. I plan to take several hints and tips from him on being a good facilitator. I also, of course, agree with his contention that projective dreamwork is successful only when the participants do not try to tell the dreamer what his or her dream is about. Instead, they must strive to work through the dream as if it is theirs and see what insights come for them and the dreamer through this process.
