UPDATE: If you have young kids...this book is priceless! Great for ages about... 5, 6, 7, and 8.
ALL KIDS LOVE this book!!!

WOW!!!!!!!

The book is here!!! I was asked today --what was a favorite child's book?

THIS book was one of the 'most' read books in our house-or car- or yard- by all the Pee-Wee kids. EVERY child in the neighborhood seemed to love this book! Crazy over it!

Its the BEST little book for STORYTIME FUN! Children of all ages have fun with this book --but its especially perfect kids between the ages of 4 and 6 --with 'colorful-wonderful-pictures.

Gloria is a little girl who MUST go to the doctor for a 'check up'. Her mother drags her to the pediatrician kicking and fussing.
When they arrive --Gloria imagines what it would be like to give her doctor a check up

....Gloria: "Step on the Scale Doctor"
....Doctor: he does as he is told...
....Gloria: "My, my, getting a little chubby, are we?...you better eat your peas"
....etc etc etc.

Gloria continues to give her doctor a FULL check up....

Its fun --kids join love it! They make up their stories --adding on...

Clever book which gets kids involved --

When Gloria goes to her doctors appointment, she imagines what it would be like to give the doctor an examine. She pokes and prods him, until he asks her to stop. She makes him breath in and out until he can't anymore. She makes him step on the scale and talks about his weight. And she imagines that the doctor would hate all of these things. Eventually Gloria goes through her check up.

I was reading this book to a child and had mixed feelings. There were some lines in the book that felt slightly off. I tried not to read too much into it but it continued with multiple lines. There were lines within the book about keeping secrets, taking pain, and other odd comments.
