Step 1 Ready to Read

I was surprised that my 5 year old cousin knew who Julius was. I'm guessing Julius must now be on TV...

I could see an abridged version of this book working well as a tactile lift-the-flap/pop-up experience. The story is just the typical "Day on the Farm" so I wasn't all that excited about it.

For a Step 1 reader this title has a lot of words. I think it really should be a Step 2 or possibly even a Step 3.

Eh. I'm sure my daughter will enjoy being able to read it on her own. It's very simple. She wasn't impressed when it was read to her.
