This is a really great book to flip through for working out using the Tabata method: you work out an exercise move intensely for 20 seconds and then rest for 10 seconds, repeating this exercise 8 times then moving on to the next exercise. Each workout usually has 1-4 exercises. So each workout would be 12-16 minutes max. I personally prefer doing the different exercises together as 1 round, 8 times. No illustrations, but each exercise is described. Readers can look up the moves online, but it would have been nice to have them all in his handbook.
Great Book with many workouts with or no equipment.
Clearly explains Tabata and HIIT Workout.
Tabata is a training method that you can take with you everywhere you go and get just as an effective workout as if you were in the gym. Its worth a read and trying it out for your self.
The lack of photos/diagrams to show the various moves is a major deterrent for me. Granted, I know what a plank looks like, but not everyone is going to understand how to do the flutter kick or karaoke step without a visual. Text is also minimal because the majority of it is the name of the exercise in 24+ font size for the 100 different training plans. Not the instructional handbook that I was expecting.
