Via is a strong woman who doesn't take crap from anyone, not even her own husband!
The newly married couple, Ryan and Olivia Rayner, settle into their lives together and are thrown into an emotional whirlwind that pushes Ryan into seeking outside help from an old friend. As Via and Ryan embark on their new adventure, retired actors Ryan and Melanie Carlisle (Secrets Revealed) enter their lives in the most unexpected way. The Carlisle’s have been forced out of retirement and the Rayner’s are just the ticket they need to teach them how to be Dom/Sub. Ryan & Via must prove that their marriage is more than just pleasure for the sadistic. As the Carlisle's begin to accept them as normal, someone from both of the couple’s past has made an unpleasant return. Via and Melanie are then forced to work together in order to save their husband's lives.
After this major scare of almost losing her husband, there couldn't possibly be more drama in their lives. Could there?
Shortly after saving her husband's ass, Via soon unravels a secret she never suspected Ryan would carry. A secret so wet and juicy that it will leave you so...well...wet and juicy! Will Ryan's exposed secret be the beginning to the end of his marriage?
Set through the eyes of Via, readers will enjoy every moment. They will laugh, cry, and fall in love with the dynamic duo. Via & Ryan's story is guaranteed to be full of surprises that will fill the hearts of readers.
Did I mention the sex scenes are so hot, they could melt the ink off of the pages of Fifty Shades?!
Though the Eyes of a Female Dominant is just as amazing as Through the Eyes of a Male Submissive. I have once again fallen in love with Ryan and Olivia and love being a part of their world! I do hope to hear more from both characters very, very soon!
Love love love Via & Ryan. After reading part 2 of their story I felt like my heart has been pampered then smashed to hell!
This was a book of two halves for me... The first part with Via and Ryan getting used to being married and pregnant. We join up with them after Via's accident where she is in a Coma at the hospital. But true to her character she had awoken, but kept her eyes closed. I love how they take turns with being in control.
Then there's the fact that they are both very stubborn, wither one not backing down.
Via wanted to go to Paris with her girlfriends, Ryan didn't want her to go! so in the best Via style, she thinks she is getting one over on him, only to find he gatecrashed the trip.
I think her girls are great friends and it would be great for them all to spend more time together!
Rya and Via finally accept they are going to be in Paris together, as well as the girls but its short lived as Via ends up in the hospital with very sad news, she looses the baby.
Then we meet the Carlisle's; Ryan and Melanie, who are retired actors, with their agent who happens to be connected to Ryan Rayner.
Their agent has a film offer, where it takes on the story of the Rayners lifestyle and Ryan and Via have been drafted in to train the Carlisle's into the BDSM world.
I loved the interaction between the four of them, although frosty at first they soon become firm friends, even the scandal of Via and Ryan Carlisle's supposed affair does not break the friendship bond.
Their friendship was not without drama, especially when the agent as a huge ship on her shoulder, and by bringing both Ryan's together she thinks she is going to get her revenge, only to have it all backfire, she wasn't expecting Via to be as strong and protective as bad-ass as we have known about her all along.
Then we find out that Via's sad news from Paris, becomes a happy occasion again, she is still pregnant. Which isn't without its own surprise, someone was hiding!!! We get introduced to Zoie and Zeke.
So Ryan and Via are parents and seem to be coping OK, when out of nowhere Via opens Ryan's mail and gets her own surprise and whilst Ryan is hesitant about the club he is investing in, Via is really excited.
This is where I feel that the books is of 2 halves....
We all know Ryan was/is a Dominant, but had stepped back and he & Via take equal dominance in their relationship. BUT Ryan seems to change/morph and things start to unravel for them.
This part of the book had me frowning ad asking myself 'What' 'why' 'this cant be happening?' We do get a glimpse of the Old Ryan from before Via, and he seemed to revert back as if he wasn't a married man with children.
I was in shock and thought it was a dream and had to read the part about Ryan and Sophia (his trainee sub) twice [OMG Andie, you're positively evil!]
Ryan although married and loved Via and his children, seemed to forget their existence. I was hoping that we got to see the really soft side of Ryan, with Via after having their babies, experiencing all the first together including getting intimate for the first time since the birth! They appeared to be both going in different directions.
I wanted to bash them both upside the head, to try and make them see what was going on. Via did the only thing she could, and put herself and the kids first.
Ryan was too entranced with what was happening at the club and fair play to Via, she really was an understanding wife, and both were hurting each other.
I was not expecting that and really hope that all the loose ends tie up and that they both get back to where they belong without any regrets.
Amazing storytelling with fun, laughter, sadness, angst, hurt and anger.
Through the eyes of a female dominant is the second book by Andie Lea. This fabulous author makes you hang on to your seat itching for more by telling the story of Ryan and Via through Via.
This sassy Vixen has got nothing on fifty shades's Ana. Via protectively fights for what she wants or believes in!
This part of the series will reveal some interesting plots that can give it the feel on which way can it go! After receiving my ARC I jumped straight into reading and couldn't put it down until the end, which leaves you wondering!
Keep going Andie, you definitely know how to keep everyone on their toes waiting to see what happens next!!
This is the 2nd in the series and should be read in order.
Marrying Via was the best thing Ryan ever did in his life. Her unexpected announcement at the wedding just made his life even better. When Ryan’s high school girlfriend approaches him with a movie idea that she needs his and Via’s help with the couple can’t say no. Via is more than willing to teach the Hollywood couple Ryan and Melanie Carlisle about their lifestyle but when Ryan and Ryan are threaten, Via and Melanie do everything they can to get their husbands back. If Via thought this was bad, she realizes that things can get worse. Ryan is pulling away from her and she doesn’t know how to get him back. Will Via be able to help Ryan find his way back or will Ryan lose everything he ever wanted?
I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.
Via had everything she wanted. Ryan gave her what she needed in the bedroom and she equally exchanged it with him. Her friends feel that she is too tied up in Ryan and surprise her with a trip to Paris. When things don’t go according to plan Via does her best to stay strong and hold her ground, after all she only has a short time left to be able to do whatever she wants. After being hit with a tragedy Via begins to pull away from Ryan. Via some times be perfectly happy and wants to be with only Ryan and other times she craves her independence that she doesn’t seem to have. She knows how to push Ryan’s buttons and can be very headstrong. Her biggest issue is that she acts like a child and runs away from her problems. Most of the time she is hoping on a plane to a different state or country. When she is hit with a tragedy she takes it like any woman would. Her depression is normal but it adds a strain to the already delicate relationship. She realizes that Ryan’s dominant side is starting to appear more often and she does what she can to give him what he needs. It may be unconventional but she’s afraid of losing him.
Ryan was the happiest man on earth when Via agreed to marry him. Her surprise for him just made it better. His love for her was so strong and the fact she understood his need for dominance just made his life perfect. He loved the give and take of his relationship with Via but his dominant side was starting to take over. When Via tells him she’s going to Paris for a girls week, he doesn’t take it very well and this causes problems between the couple. After a tragedy strike the couple, Ryan feels Via pulling away. Things between them become even more strained. What’s worse is Ryan’s ex’s start showing up and this is the last thing they need. He feels the need to dominate more and more. Via give him an unexpected gift that starts to consume his life. He starts to pull away from Via more. The turmoil that Ryan goes through over this doesn’t help the fact that the Dom inside him has taken over his life. Ryan struggles with how to get back what he had with Via but she doesn’t make it easy for him and he believes she is right that he needs to prove he is going to be there for her.
This continuation of Via and Ryan’s story left me questioning where Andie was trying to take these characters. For the most part the story is good but there were parts of it that left me disappointed. It was hard to get into in some parts but as the story went on it did get better. For me it was a roller coaster ride of good parts and disappointing parts of the story. The beginning of the book had me wanting to know where these two would go and how they would get through things. It was the unconventional agreement Via made with Ryan that had me wondering why a character would do that. I don’t know what woman would agree to such a thing but I’m not her so I tried my best to keep an open mind. There were a lot of hot scene that kept me wanting more and the suspense of what Ashley, Ryan’s ex from high school was up to kept me reading. Unfortunately, that part of the story needed more to make it better. Things went too perfectly and there was a lot more that could’ve been added. I gave this 4 stars however it’s not quite a 4 star but definitely better than 3 stars. I do look forward to reading how Ryan goes about to fix the mess he created and if these two dominants end up together.
Via told Ryan that Patience is virtue, Ryan thinks that they are going to be having a girl but Via doesn't think that they are. The gynecologist confirmed that they were going to be having a girl. Via's father paid for a trip to Paris for Via and her friends Tory, Leslie and Racheal. Ryan has no idea about the trip. Ryan and Via had a fight and Via left angry and went to pick up her friends for the trip to Paris. What Olivia didn't know was that Ryan was on the plane as well. She wasn't very happy to see him there. Will Olivia and Ryan make up? Ryan is Via's husband, is a very successful Lawyer.Doesn't want anything bad to happen to Via.Via is Ryan's wife, wants to be independent. Jennifer is pregnant, she also has the same sue date as Via. Rachael is Via's friend. Leslie is Via's friend, wants Ryan and Via to work. Tory Via's friend. This book is amazing. I love this book its fast paced story. Andie Lea is an amazing author and I can't wait to read more of her books. I loved that the characters were very well developed and the story line was great. I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
I was so not expecting what I read in this second book. I was in shock that Via and Ryan took on submissives. Oh my damn..really!?! I can't wait for the next installment..please hurry!
