Bringing Harmony

Rate this book
For Mature Adult Audiences. Contains language and actions some may deem offensive. Extreme violence. Ménage – MFM.
In book two of the Ops Warriors Harmony finds herself being pulled back into the last place she promised herself she would never go again. When she left two years ago, she had been broken by the only family she had ever known. Building a life for herself, moving on, doing exactly what they wanted her to do—leave.
Creed and Fork run the Warriors, and when problems arise with the Diablos, everyone is called back in. Even the ones who don't want their protection or don't need it. Including the little hellcat who walked away from them for no good reason. Even with trouble surrounding them, they are not men to let an opportunity get away from them—again. What they don't expect is the resistance they receive—and why would they, they have always gotten what they want—until now, and at least not without a fight of wills.
What happens when a drug lord is moving in on territories that belong to not one but two MC clubs? Join in and find out as the Warriors and Savages unite to show them.

I loved this one. I also loved that it had a touch of humor. Every time she called him Spoon it was priceless! I can't wait to read the spinoff series once the girls get their club up and going. I am diving into Shade's story next, as I just can't wait to start it.

This book absolutely blew me away. If I could give it more than 5 stars I absolutely would. This book has everything, awesome story line, great plot, suspense, angst, love and of course a ton of hot sex. Creed and Fork has always known that Harmony was the one for them. Due to some misunderstanding on Harmony's part and the guys not fighting for her they wasted a couple of years together. When they finally got the chance to tell her how they felt they realized she's not the same girl they once knew. Harmony is a straight up bad ass with a steel of spine except when it came to her men. There was nothing in this book I did not love. Harley keeps getting better and better and I for one can't wait for the next one.

I am giving this book 3 stars. This book took me forever to read...it just didn't keep my attention like the 1st one. The best part was the last chapter and the epilogue. I liked the story, but it seemed like it was the same as the 1st book just with different names. Because I liked the ending, I will read the next book, I just hope it's better than this one is.

This book is about another threesome starring Creed (President of Ops Warriors MC), Fork (VP of Ops Warriors MC) and Harmony (daughter of Fish [MC old timer], private investigator). Harmony grew up in the MC crushing over Creed and Fork. When she finally got up the nerve to approach them to act on her crush, she overheard a conversation that lead her to believe they did not want her. Of course, she flees and never tells anyone what happened. At the time, what she did not know was that Creed and Fork wanted to claim her as their woman and she misunderstood the conversation that was not about her. Fast forward two years, an older and tougher Harmony is denying that she still has a crush on them and Creed and Fork still want to claim her. Let the push pull game begin!

Creed and Fork were very dominant men who knew how to handle Harmony. However, they were just as sweet and protective, when they needed to be. When I read book one, Sharing Freedom , I had wanted to see the dynamics of a threesome in action. Meaning, I wanted to read about the day to day dynamics of the relationship. This book gave me what I was looking for. There was so much interaction, inside and outside of the bedroom, between Creed, Fork and Harmony. The dialogue between all three of them had me LMAO periodically during the story! When she was being a total bitch, they knew exactly how to handle her.

Harmony was a bit much to take. I think she came off too much like a spoiled brat in the beginning. I hate to read about women 'stomping' off. It makes be think they are very immature. Stomping, really, are you three? Because of this, I would not say that I loved Harmony. She did mellow out some towards the end, but sometimes she got on my nerves.

The MC drama continued from Sharing Freedom , but it was not as intense in this book. The MC drama was more focused on figuring out who was the threat.

The epilogue set up for the next book, which should focus on Shady and someone from her past. It looks like she will have her own protection and I can't wait to read it!! However, if it's another threesome, I will be disappointed. I need something else besides three-ways in this series!!

Why Not 5 Stars?

The author tried to sanitize and tone down the Ops Warriors MC!!! We already know they are into some shady business, except drugs. In this book the author tried to clean up/justify their business with:

"the club was basically legitimate all except for the guns that was acceptable because the guns were supplied to many underground agencies that helped abused women get away from their abusers."

When I read this, I almost stopped reading the book. This was mentioned twice!! Did the author receive feedback that the MC was too gritty? They started out as an unapologetic group of bikers who floated on the fringe of society. What's next: All of the proceeds from the strip club go to a women's shelter? The proceeds from the mine go towards feeding the homeless? They no longer do 'runs', they only do toys-for-tots runs? Come on!! I noticed that the public/open sex was severely toned down in this book too. In fact, there was little to no mention of sex outside of the trio. Yep, they even moved to a vanilla house with doors. I'm thinking Shady's story will be more of the same. I already see this heading in the fluff direction. Why? Why? Why?

Dangerously close to Sharing Freedom . I think you have to be very careful when writing a series about threesomes. They can quickly become repeatable and predictable. Some of the dialogue, positions and places can come off like you read it before...been there read that. In the next book, it would more than likely turn me off and make the series less believable if it is about another threesome. Does that mean the Ops Warriors MC is all about the trios with no couples? I think you have to mix it up to keep it interesting. Is this series about a MC or ménages?

Edit - not as bad as book one, but it is still noticeable. I'm not looking for perfection in the editing space, but when I have to re-read sentences because of the mistakes, it does not add value to the story.

I like this author's writing style and enjoyed book 1 Sharing Freedom in this series. Then I read Bed of Roses and felt like it was a pretty good story. The author writes a committed m/f/m relationship very well. But by this third book I felt like I was reading the same story with the names changed so I started skipping paragraphs.

Wow I loved this one just as much as the first!!! Harmony kicks ass first and takes names later! Creed and fork know just how to keep her in line!! Their dominance was pretty hot!!! An exciting read!!! I can't wait for the next one! I really hope it's about shady and slider! I really want to read more about her!

Meh, it was alright. I enjoyed the plot line about the attack on the office but I would have liked a little more variety in the scenes. It seems that every other page was Creed, Fork, and Harmony going at it.

Although I did enjoy reading this book, the author lost me with the amount and duration of the sex scenes. The action and plot are enough to give the story momentum. Then at just over 50% the heroes and heroine are intimate for the first time - 11 pages. The book is 237pgs (approx - I do change font and size so everything here is comparable) - there are 4 more scenes which average 7 pages each time. I admit I started skimming. So say we have appeox40 pages out of 110 that's a lot of book action.

There are minor editing issues with plurals, names, etc wrong. Easily corrected but distracting when reading.

So I didn't enjoy it as much as the first book. However, the author is telling a great story. The MC world that's been depicted is interesting and the drama unfolding has been sustained. It will definitely encourage readers to want to keep reading.🙃

Great book loved it. Loved harmony and her balls. Some of their history should have been filled out more and developed. It was a bit quick them getting back together n washed over. So lacked depth. Hence it lost a star.

Also there was too much repetitive sex, it got boring. I mean we'd finish a sex scene and 3 pages later theres another one that's 10 pages long! Just ended up skipping it! As it was the same old stuff that wed read 5 times already. How to turn a reader off! Disappointing.

Could have done so much with this book and I really hope shades book is better written.

3.8 The Story is good but the ending really sucked just ended abruptly. Left me wondering wtf just happened. Overall it needs editing lots of grammar issues like using new for knew or words missing, making you need to reread it at times to get it. But still a good story. Looking forward to more just hope the Author doesn't continue to just stop mid thought again. The first book was great as far as the story itself though with grammar issues of it's own.

This book was so much better than the first one. Harmony was a stronger female lead, more outspoken, more sassy,  more in your face. She didn't wait nor depend on Creed or Fork for anything. She stood up for herself but knew not to put herself in any dangerous situations. She certainly didn't allow anyone, not even her father to talk down to her. I thoroughly enjoyed her character. She was funny and just didn't quit! Very gutsy!

Creed and Fork were pretty cool as well. Once they figured out that no amount of thumping their chests, no amount of yelling nor demanding was going to get Harmony to do their bidding, they learned real quick how to compromise so all three parties can work together to get what they want and have a successful working relationship!  Plus, unlike Easy and Poke, Creed and Fork were actually loyal and faithful to Harmony so they get a golden star in my book.

The action continues with the war between the Warriors, Savages against the Diablos. Now this Dom character has been thrown into the mix, I'm not exactly sure what he has done to Shady, one of the toughest Bitches in this series, that has broken her, but I can't wait to see how all this plays out!

Bringing Harmony was a good book. Very different than book 1 Sharing Freedom. Bringing Harmony is about Creed President of Warriors, Fork VP and Harmony. I liked this trio they will hilarious, sexy and chemistry between was wild. Harmony in my opinion made this story , she is tough, knows what she wants and kicks ass. The spork episode at Starbucks was one of my favorite scenes. This story is lighter than Sharing Freedom which was interesting, this story flowed mostly around the trio instead of the club.
Harmony in my opinion was the star of this book, she ran Creed and Fork though the stages before giving in, it was hilarious. I loved Harmony, Shady , Free and the rest of the ladies relationships. I love when an author can give me every emotion in a story and McRide does that in Bringing Harmony.McRide does a good job with all characters, but Harmony is my favorite, I love reading about strong female leads. Harmony does not cry or faint at blood she shots first and asks questions later type of character.
Looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
Overall 4.5 stars. Happy Reading

I liked Sharing Freedom and Bed of Roses well enough so I figured I'd give this one a try as well. It was pretty much the same type of menage story...two bossy bikers and the woman "they" decided to claim with no choice given to her.
A big misunderstanding had Harmony running away from the club and the lives of Creed and Fork two years ago...but when she had to come back to deal with club business that spilled over into "her business" they made sure she stayed and became their property. A jealous woman who was thrown away by the two men comes back to try to cause damage to Harmony and her friend Shady, but all ends as it should...although with a few loose ends left to be tied up.

**** 3.5 **** "a fork, a spork and a creed to love" stars

I was hesitant when starting this story. Why? Because, I have read half of the first book in this series and found it hard to get into and slow – hence why I am reading it in instalments. I needn’t have worried as I was hooked from page one. I really liked this story. I loved Harmony’s attitude, sass and temper. I was in stitches of laughter everytime Harmony sassed Fork by calling him Spoon, his reaction is hilarious. I really liked that Fork and Creed were finally going after their woman. They weren’t going to let her get away a second time.
Parts of this story are kindle melting hot.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an entertaining read. I cannot wait to read more books from this series.

HOLY FREAKIN WOW! I love Harley's books. Her descriptions are so detailed I can see her characters in my mind like i'm watching a movie instead of reading a book. I love Harmony. She is so strong, smart, and beautiful, and madly in love with Fork and Creed but can't bring herself to say the words. they tell her often how much they love her but she's afraid to trust completely. their sexual chemistry is off the charts smokin hot! These two bad ass biker alpha males sure could rock a womans world. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

Harmony may just be the most powerful, sassiest, badass character I've read in a long time!

Returning after her humiliating crush was discovered after 2 years of absence, Harmony has no intention of coming quietly. And Creed wouldn't have it any other way!

This book is filled with drama and sexual tension that's thought the roof, but at the heart of the story is exactly that. Hearts. Where family always comes first and you can't turn off those pesky emotions no matter how hard you fight!

A great read which will have you 'one-clicking' book 3 before you know it

I am reviewing this book for bookwhore addicts. I really love love love this author . I recommend if you like sons of anarchy with some romance added to it then you would love her books. In this one Harmony was introduced to the club life as a young kid she grew up around it ..Fish her dad used to be a member of the Warriors. She finds herself helping the club again and having to decide if thats the life she wants or if she wants to walk away from it. I recommend starting with the first book in the series just because they are just that good but you could also read this as a stand alone.

DNF @ 70%.

This story is amazing. It gets darker with each book and while I liked the first one more because it had more mystery This one can hold its own.

I was actually surprised how fast it was over. Definitely a page turner.
