As a little girl growing up in sunny Southern California, I spent most of my time alone with my imagination. That imagination so filled my life with joy and fascination I always knew I'd share my worlds with people who couldn't see into my mind.
I started writing as soon as I could scribble in the dirt with a stick. Though I never lost the enjoyment writing gave me, life had other plans for me in my twenties which included getting married and having three beautiful intelligent children. When I turned thirty and realized we didn't have much longer before the children would be out on their own and all I had done was be a mother and hadn't continued my writing. I decided then and there I would work on my childhood dream of being a published author.
Once I decided to follow through on my dream, I started my new journey writing Paranormal Romance but it just didn't quiet fit. One morning I was thinking about one of my novels I was working on and it suddenly came to me. Steampunk! And that's how I came to write Steampunk Romance. I enjoy the genre so much I attend my local conventions and love to share my knowledge with others.

~Endearing romantic short story
~This is indeed a very short story, all of six pages and perhaps fifteen minutes in the life of the main characters, Aven and Gaelan.
~I originally selected this story because I do enjoy the Steampunk genre. This story did not disappoint! I can only begin to imagine where the story could have gone, were the plot given the chance to develop.
~Definitely liked the author’s writing style…very clear and created a grand word picture for the reader. I would love to read a full-length book written by her.
