I'm certain that I'm the only former editor-in-chief of House Beautiful magazine who ever wrote a book about NASA and spaceflight. We all have our quirks, you know.

I've served as the chief editor at House Beautiful, Traditional Home, Southern Accents and Art & Antiques magazines, in addition to creating my own magazine about space flight called LAUNCH. Before my magazine career, I was a writer/editor for USA Today.

I'm now serving as an adjunct journalism professor and editorial adviser to student media at the University of Alabama.
