There are only the most important words that are important in linguistics. Many important words are missing. Then again, the explanations are often very lengthy. I'd like to have shorter explanations and more words. On the other hand, many words are given with their English, French and Russian translation, which can be quite useful. And sources and further readings are given. Well... just so so, I think Hadumod Bußmann's book is better. But the Metzler is the best in this area, I think.
