One night. That’s all it should’ve been. Now, three hockey stars refuse to let me go… And two pink lines have me wondering—who’s "Daddy"?
I came home for a fresh start, not to wave goodbye to my V-card and break every rule in the Minneapolis Marauders' locker room.
As the new team doctor, I’m supposed to keep things professional. Instead, I’m tangled up in sweaty sheets and bad decisions.
Brooks is a brooding grump with a body carved from ice and a stare that melts my panties. His cocky teammate, Nick, is a smooth talker who makes promises I want to believe. And Nick's identical twin brother, Tyler, is a reckless flirt who gets under my skin—and my skirt—in the naughtiest way.
With the whole league—and entire city—watching, our dirty little secret could ruin everything.
But these three untouchable men are staking their claim—saying they’ll protect me, fight for me, keep me forever.
They have no idea I’m keeping the biggest secret of all... I’m pregnant. With their TRIPLETS.

I have read more than 50 hockey romance and this one, while the premise could have been a great one, fell so flat. There were tons of unexplained time jumps of emotional growth and situational plot holes. 400 pages and until the last 60 or so I didnt feel like I was reading anything exciting at all. The spice was maybe 2.5/5, not because it wasn't smutty, but because some of it was really confusing. The dialog was embarrassing and awkward. Side characters kinda fluttered in and out without much heed to the story. The main characters were likable enough but with the amount of pages written, I would have liked more actual growth and development from them, not just blind acceptance of everything that's happened.
I feel like this book had potential, however the published version feels more like an alpha reader copy. There were POV mix ups. It felt like the first quarter of the book was reviewed and developed, but once you get to the 30 % ish mark it was so bad. It felt like reading a list of story points that were supposed to be further developed but the author either forgot to go back and do so or they gave up? The spice scenes were horrible, not because I’m a prude, but because they were written so poorly. Again, it felt like it was mapped out but then it wasn’t ever revised or developed.
I got to about the 50% mark and just can’t continue. I’d honestly be willing to try reading it again if it ever gets revised.
How is this rated so highly!?! Hockey games have intermissions, not halftime. I couldn’t get past that slip up. The character development was lacking tremendously. Some aspects in the beginning felt too much like Pucking Around. To have four main characters, the story felt rushed. She was pregnant for like 3 pages. The story did have potential if developed correctly.
I would have chosen 5 stars except for leaving out what happened with her brother. Just a huge question mark about him. The question about her mother was more explainable.
Hat Trick Daddies by Summer James is a chaotic, steamy rollercoaster of passion, temptation, and unexpected consequences that had me hooked from page one! I didn’t know what I was getting myself into, but by the time I finished this book, I couldn't stop thinking about it. It’s equal parts sports romance, sizzling chemistry, and heart-thumping drama that will keep you turning pages way past your bedtime.
First off, let’s talk about the three hockey stars who refuse to let the heroine, Dr. Mia Harrison, go. As the team doctor for the Minneapolis Marauders, Mia is supposed to be professional, but Brooks, Nick, and Tyler turn her world upside down in the most delicious way possible. Brooks, the brooding, grumpy guy with a body chiseled from ice and a stare that literally melts your panties—oh boy, I was all in for him. But then you get Nick, the cocky, smooth-talking charmer who makes promises Mia wants to believe in. And let’s not forget Tyler, the reckless twin who’s just the right kind of naughty, getting under Mia’s skin—and her skirt—in all the right ways.
But the twist that completely had me floored? Mia’s unexpected pregnancy—with their triplets. THREE babies. THREE hockey players. The drama and tension of these three trying to figure out their place in her life, not to mention trying to navigate this secret that could ruin their careers, made for such a juicy, heart-pounding plotline.
Mia is a strong, relatable heroine. She knows the risks of her decisions, but there’s a certain vulnerability to her as well, especially when the weight of her secret starts bearing down on her. And I loved seeing her struggle between her desire for these men and the consequences of their intense attraction. The way the guys work together to protect her, fight for her, and claim her—it was impossible not to swoon. They each bring something different to the table: the solid, protective one in Brooks, the irresistible flirt in Nick, and the bold, cheeky one in Tyler. The chemistry between them all is explosive.
Summer James masterfully combines the world of professional sports with intense emotions and a romance that’s both steamy and full of heart. The MFMM dynamic was done so well—there’s no awkwardness or forced drama, just pure, fiery passion with a whole lot of heart. I found myself laughing, crying, and yes, fanning myself throughout the entire book.
For fans of: 🔥 Steamy sports romance 💥 Brooding hockey players with a protective streak 👶 Surprise pregnancies and secret babies 🎉 Why choose romance with an ultra swoony HEA
If you love a smokin’ hot age-gap, why choose romance that’ll make your heart race and your cheeks flush, then Hat Trick Daddies is a must-read. I honestly can't wait to see what happens next in this series—I’m already hooked!.

Ally has returned to her home city to complete her fellowship as Team Doctor to the Minneapolis Marauders, what she wasn't expecting was to be attracted to not one but three of the team.
Brook, one of the older team members, took twins Tyler and Nick under his wing when they joined the team as rookies. Hoping to help calm and shape the raw talent into positive energy for the team. They can be a handful but they are like younger brothers to him. When all three meet Ally for the first time, they have all fallen under her spell, there just something about her that draws them in.
All four have to deal with budding romance between them, but what will happen when they find out about each other? Ally has been so invested in her career, her love life has taken a back seat, but now that she is the driving seat, she is speeding along and will it all crash and burn around her?.

This is a well written, romantic story. With humor, drama, great chemistry, romance, passion and love.
Ally has moved back to her home city to work as the team doctor for the Minneapolis Marauders ice-hockey team. She'd spent her life putting her personal life as second to her career but she catches the eye of not one but three of the team.
After a kiss at a bar with one of the twins on the team, she admits to Brooks that she's still got her V-card and he offers to help. But afterwards she realises that she is also beginning to have strong feelings for both twins, Nick and Tyler. Brooks had given the twins a home when they'd started with the team and sees them as younger brothers. But as all three men grow closer to Ally, how will they react when they realise they've become a family, and it might be growing.

HAT TRICK DADDIES is the first book in the Minneapolis Marauders series by Summer James. The main characters of Ally and her harem consisting of hockey players, Brooks, Nick and Tyler, and each tell their story in alternating chapters. But I feel there’s more to each of them and that we just scratch the surface.
There’s steaminess along with romance and hockey as we get to know each of them. There are also a few supporting characters that add another layer to the story. There are surprises along with lots of hard work on and off the ice. There are a few stories being told and they get woven together. The story sometimes felt choppy because it was hard to determine how much time had elapsed. There is closure and a nicely portrayed happily ever after. I can’t wait to be back with the team to see whose story will be told next.

When I first starting reading this book, the reminder of other "puck" books was eerily similar, but as I went on, the characters started to emerge, and became like close friends. I started to understand the fatherly instincts of Brooks, the playful twin Tyler, and the thoughtful Nick who round out the reverse harem for Ally.
She is a team doctor in need of experience, and she not only get that in patching up the players, but also in the steamy romps she has with Brooks, Tyler, and Nick. I am so glad that I continued reading because Summer James puts quite a new spin ad nauseum presentations, and has you laughing and cheering for the hole gang...and when Marcus, Derek, and Elise come along...well, let's just say the gang is all here to round out this HEA.
I love reverse harems, and this one didn't disappoint! Summer James has a delightful way of spinning a tale that will keep you turning the pages as you get caught up in the lives of her characters. Ally is young, vibrant and well on her way to a great career, and she's caught the eye of not only one of her "co-workers/patient", but three of them. Brooks is not looking for a hook-up, let alone a relationship, but as soon as he sets eyes on the lovely new doctor, he's a goner. His team mates/room mates, Tyler and Nick, young and carefree, seem just as smitten! How will they ever manage to keep their eyes on the puck and not the lovely new doc?.

This was my introduction to Summer Jams, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Ally is returning to her childhood hockey team, where she learned to skate and play hockey, to become the team doctor. She meets twins Tyler and Nick, then Brooks. She asks Brooks to take her V-Card, and he makes it romantic for her. The twins proposition her to share, and she is open for it. Once they realize that they each have feelings, it is all up in the air for who will win her heart. I enjoyed this book and plan on reading others by this author.

When Ally to her childhood home to become a doctor for the local hockey team and to fulfill her dream with the hometown team, she doesn't expect the events to happen the way they do.
Nick, Tyler, and Brooks all fall quickly for the beautiful doctor. Who is gonna come out on top?
This book is an excellent why choose! Summer James knocked this one out of the park. An engaging book with turn the page dynamics makes this book an excellent read! I didn't expect the storyline to go the way it did, but boy did it kept me completely engaged the entire time I read it.
Wow! This book is hot. This is definitely not traditional but works for them. You have a sweet new Dr in her preceptorship and get to watch her grow. She is a 24 year old virgin who has an older man to teach her the ways and that creates a monster haha she meets two more men who are all hockey players on the same team and all have fun with the Dr. there is some suspense added to it. The book is good and won’t want to put it down. I don’t want to ruin too much but it’s definitely a good read and get a hint of what is coming next!

This was an enjoyable book with great characters. There were a couple of parts that felt like it was missing a step so a little distracting. I felt that her dad should have been more involved in the story at least once she was truly seeing them.
The MFC was a bit of a rabbit but she was nice enough and her confidence grew over time.
The four of them created a good dynamic.

Well written story and well developed characters. Those are the most important things, to me, in a book. I needs to grab my interest and keep me involved from the beginning all the way to the end. This one does that and very well. She came back home to get her life together and the grow as a person. What she wasn't counting on was her three detours.

I’ve only read a few books by this author but I’ll be changing that shortly!
This is an awesome book with Ally who is fresh out of med school and starting her career. She meets three hockey players (an older player: Brooks and a set of twins: Tyler & Nick) who she has an instant connection too but tries to resist. The spicy scenes were perfect and frequent enough plus the book had a great storyline.
I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more by this author.
Ally returns home to be the new team doctor. She hopes to replace the retiring doctor and is happy to be close to her father. She starts to meet all the players and the rest of the staff. She eventually becomes with one player and then meets his two housemates. I was afraid this would fall into the usual storyline but I was glad it found a new course. If you like hockey mixed with forbidden love/reverse harem, this book is for you. Ally is the new team doctor who is initially a virgin when she meets Brooks, Tyler and Nick who all play on the same hockey team. The steam begins quickly and grows as the story evolves but what happens when her bosses find out?.

What a fantastic spice filled story where Brooks, Tyler and Nick who all play on the Minneapolis Marauders' hockey team meet Ally, the new team Doctor, they know that she is what they need. The story was very entertaining, and I couldn’t put it down until very last page. There is a happy ending for all involved.

This is another amazing book by Summer James. The MFL is Ally who returns to Minnesota to become the new team doctor for the Minneapolis Marauders. She immediately gains the attention of three hockey players. Brooks is a veteran player and is like a big brother to twins Tyler and Nick. Ally is a virgin who is ready for some life experiences and takes a chance on not one but all three of these men. You definitely don't want to miss out on this steamy journey of love and two pink lines. This book is a must read!
I loved this!! The FMC, Ally is very relatable. The MMCs, Brooks, Tyler and Nick are so sweet and charming, though also very different. Brooks was brooding too. He’s very protective of the FMC. I know it’s a why choose but I’m team Brooks. I recommend this fun read.

Hot female sports doctor plus three hot hockey players equals a very steamy read. But it's not just steam. Ally takes this job working with a lead doctor knowing she would take over. But falling for three guys creates a lot of angst, secrets and a super big secret. Truly a great story and so worth setting aside time to enjoy.
This is a really sweet love story. The characters are so warm and inviting. I really enjoyed getting to know them all. The relationship definitely had twists and turns but I am really happy with the ending. I was only left with one question at the end of the book. It’s a great story that is very well written.
Ally has returned home as the new doctor to the Mauraders Ice Hockey team. Attracting the attention of not one but three hot players was hot and steamy. This short read was enjoyable and full of emotional suspense.

For me there was much missing. It was hard to develop a connection with the characters. One chapter they barely know each other and the next they are each other’s world. It’s hard to give examples without spoilers. One minute Ally is struggling with a life changing decision and then the next all is right and everything forgiven. There is some substance lacking.
I didn’t mind this book but it seemed disjointed a lot if the time. One minute one of the RH is in hospital next he’s driving home at 5 am. Lots of time just jumps leaving you wondering what’s happening. The whole premise of no one figuring out the relationship is just not believable after someone already blackmails them. Needs a bit more thought to it.
