I couldn't put this book down. It put me through so many emotions. Marlowe and Levi are amazing together. The bond between Levi and Marlowe's daughter Claire was an amazing part of this book. Highly recommend

Wow!!!!

I’m so glad to have arc read this book. Obsessed with Marlowe & Levi, the emotions in this book are something else and it had me constantly wanting to read more.

The relationship between Marlowe & Levi was perfect but then the relationship between Levi & Claire was EVEN BETTER. All of the characters, to be fair, I adored.

There aren’t enough words to tell just how much I loved this book and I will forever recommend it to anybody.

I was completely sucked in by the twists in this book and although I didn’t want it to end, was so pleased with how it finished.

Most definitely a 5 star read & so glad I was given the opportunity to arc read this ❤️

This sunshine x sunshine novel will have you deeeep in your feelings…

Marlowe works for the best matchmaker in the city and when her world is flipped upside down, losing her family in more ways than one, her boss decides to play matchmaker for her. Levi is a billionaire who has been holding on to his memory of meeting Marlowe years ago.

I loved this book so much. Marlowe truly goes through the unthinkable while trying to stay strong for her daughter. You will feel all the feels from swooning over Levi to being sad for Marlowe to not believing the secrets that are revealed.

Thank you so much Marissa for this ARC of your beautiful novel!

It took me a day to finish that book. It’s really good and I am so obsessed with that book and I love it a lot and I really hope that she will write more books because I already am going to read her next book. I love when she wrote about Levi and Marlowe because they are so adorable. And I love how Claire being so adorable and so funny because every time when she rolls her eyes whatever what Marlowe said. It made me laughs. But honestly it’s really good. Keep it up! I’m proud of you!

2 🌟 0.5-1 🌶️
I was actually really disappointed by this book. The writing isn’t great, a lot of the scenes feel superfluous with unnecessary details about how she’s moving around and where she’s walking etc. The characters also don’t have a lot of depth and there’s so much unnecessary drama.
It tries to explore some heavier topics such as grief, abuse and addiction but really falls short exploring these with any depth. It takes 40% of the book to even get the two main character to interact in any meaningful way. The story is sweet but unfortunately this really wasn’t a hit for me.

This author is a really talented writer, but I don’t think her writing is for me personally. The mc’s didn’t meet, other than in the prologue, until 35% and then there was just too much telling rather than showing and important milestones happening off page. And the h was way too soft on her ex, and I’m not sure why
