Beautiful illustrations in this second book about an adorable puppy named Button will delight and enthrall children. Button goes to the doctor for a checkup. Dr. Pig rewards Button with a button shaped cookie for being good and speaking for the first time. Now Button can tell his best friend, Buffy, that he loves her.

Another sweet little story by this talented author who knows how to entertain very young children with simple stories that early readers can enjoy as well as preschoolers.

Contrary to the title,Button Goes to the Doctor, it really has nothing to do with going to the Doctor. The book was about the trip to the doctor, who they saw, but not about the visit itself which is what I was hoping for. Although I wasn't really impressed with the writing, the pictures are vivid and there are many details on the pages I can point out while reading to the kids in my class. I received this book through a goodreads giveaway.
