Most information was either common sense or I’ve read in more detail in other books. Probably a good starting place for someone newly diagnosed but I’ve done a lot of reading on this subject and it was nothing new.

Clinically I don't agree with the content in this book but as a system, holistically, it's a very integrative approach and a powerful way to empower and educate the potential cancer patient. I am assuming this book is written for those who want to prevent or treat cancer and the audience likely wants to augment their western medical treatment with something else or completely replace it with this approach. For me, suggesting that everyone take a mile-long list of supplements and herbals and vitamins isn't an appropriate, individual approach. But in all fairness, the author has done a fair job of saying that this should ideally be done with a clinician. As for superfoods, I don't believe such a thing exists. In 2022 phrases like "superfoods" or "detox" is too simplistic. I wouldn't peddle a tonic to my patients like back in the 1800s so I don't think in the 21st century we can any longer use such terms. The books is short and perhaps too short to really be a book of meaningful content. I think for anyone who wants to use it as a starting point it's a great a tool. I recommend it to anyone who is concerned with their health in any shape or form. I gave it a 5-star review because I think this content is missing from mainstream health information. But without a lack of further context and explanation I think it can quickly become a quick-fix book.
Anytime you can gain knowledge about your health, you are in a more powerful position to improve and protect it. This book is written in a language that you don’t need a medical degree to understand. If you have, or are caring for/live with someone with cancer, this book contains valuable information.
The Story: A super short examination of healthy practices.
The Review: This was an easy read with very clear explanations of why you would want to do these things and the effect they would have. Many of them are fairly common if you regularly read this kind of thing, but it is nice to have them all presented together in a specific order. I picked up a few new tips to incorporate.
I recommend it if you are concerned about your health.
