🔮 Seven witches. Seven stories. One powerful destiny. 🔮

Book Gibson Street – Orla’s Story

Orla MacNeil runs The Witch’s Mark, Glasgow’s cult-favorite tattoo studio, and keeps her life on lockdown—until a glowing triskelion blooms beneath her skin and every mirror in the shop starts to breathe. An AI voice whispers truths it shouldn’t know, a driverless cab calls her by name, and the Veil stirs like something waking hungry. Orla’s magick isn’t inked on; it’s rising from the bone.

Drawn to Isla, Cat, Morven, and Elspeth, Orla steps into the coven just as the Hollowed—echoes born from torn magick—test the circle’s strength. A binding is forged, a shadow breaks through, and the Veil answers back with a storm. When Isla is ripped from the bookshop in a vortex of ash and light, the coven’s bond is pushed to its limit.

Refusing to wait for rescue, Orla and Elspeth cross the Veil themselves—through ruin, whispers, and a river of moonfire—to drag Isla home. But bringing someone back marks you, and the Hollowed never stop wanting what they’ve touched. Gibson Street is where Orla learns to wield instinct as power, joy as armour, and love as the only light that holds.

Ink, instincts, and a door in the dark.

The magic of sisterhood

Another enjoyable read. Learning to love yourself, honoring yourself, and letting go of what no longer serves and finding love and strength in friendships seems to be the message of this book. And it's lovely.
