What was buried could not come back. But what if it could? When death shadows every step, the time arrives to take on the role of the Grip Reaper.
As a rare lunar eclipse, unseen for centuries, approaches, what seems impossible could come closer to reality. The Cleansing ritual at the school unleashes even deeper darkness and the dead reach from their graves to once again assert their roles in these wars. Long-held secrets need to be unveiled to defeat the evil once and for all.
Welcome to the epic finale of the TWLIW Series. The war's end hinges on betrayal completing the Quartet, taking the Earth's place and staining Water with blood, while the Roc bird's song fades into silence.
And remember, love, the most powerful weapon of all, offers no guarantees of a happy ending.
"Love is indeed the most powerful weapon, but it does not guarantee a happy ending."
I feel like this book deserved the 5 stars after making me sob for the entirety of the last 50 pages. There was no reprieve or chance to cool down, it was just one thing and then the next - the emotional impact just didn’t pause. I honestly fell in love with these characters so quickly and the found family aspect was just everything. I even found myself rooting for a certain pair to get together which I never imagined doing so 👀. The dynamic between Ren and Nash was everything - I looked forward to their moments together so much. Definitely, as the dedication says, enjoy the fluffy moments while they last because hell this one switched up from the fluffy moments quick and my heart is just 💔.
