Life Takes a Turn is one of the better collections of short stories I've ever read. It is guaranteed to touch your emotions in one way or another. I can't say that I have a favorite but I know that quite a few of the stories will stay in my mind for a long time.
Just as the title of the book says, you will read about real people and the different situations in their lives. Some will make you smile, some will have you with tears in your eyes, some will make you question the actions of people and wonder about your own life and how quickly things can change.
The author has a way with words and I plan on reading more of his works. If you like unique stories that are well written, I highly recommend this book. It definitely will not disappoint!
