**VOLUME FOUR OF SEVEN IN THE SOPHIA'S WAR SERIES**
November 1940:
In the months following her last correspondence with Adrian, Sophia finds herself tormented by her unrequited affections for him. The only good that seems to come from any of it is how much easier life alongside Diedrich proves to be with Adrian gone...
But a few chance encounters with the man who was once her friend and the incessant longing in her heart for him only add to her affliction. Disturbed by revelations of alarming deeds carried out by the Nazis, Sophia’s determination to stay in Germany begins to crumble. Lives around her are in jeopardy, and as Adrian clings to his resolve to let her go, Sophia is forced to make a decision:
To entangle herself in the war or return home, both of which will bear consequences that are bound to change her fate forever.
Christ-follower, wife, mother, author, dreamer, INFJ, Hufflepuff, WWII enthusiast. My dream pet would be a red fox and if I could eat only one food for the rest of my life, it would be avocados.
Wow. A house made of avocado and a yard full of foxes. I think that would be my heaven.
If you write WWII fiction, don't hesitate to contact me so I can add your book to my to-read list! It's probably obvious, but I love reading about WWII and am always eager to communicate with fellow authors!
Another excellent entry in this series! This book is deceptively short: many big choices were made in these few pages and these choices will set the stage for the grander drama unfolding. I'm quite impressed by the author's work and greatly look forward to reading the rest of this series.
This series just keeps getting better with each book. Just like the rest I almost finished reading this book in one setting, I just could not stop reading. I love how the author pulls you into the story as if you are there right beside Sophia. I feel as if I am in Germany during WWII, with the in depth details and writing style the author uses. Sophia makes some decisions in this book that I didn't see coming. I can't wait to see what happens next for Sophia.
I am enjoying this book series. There is tension in the plot both of romance and the issues which living among the Nazis brings. I want to keep reading to see how Sophia fares.
