I wish this wasn't the end of the Helman series, but it was a blast to go out on. I read it wicked fast, which is rare these days. Lamberson has a way of making you care about characters like few others can. I really enjoyed this one, but would have preferred the ending be a bit more of a punch in the face, to go along with all of the abuse Jake has received over the years. This is still, by far, my favourite series to read, and I'll definitely make a point of reading all of them back to back in the coming years.

Just finished HUMAN MONSTERS. Five star material without a doubt! One of the few books I've finished this year, in as much as I couldn't put it down.
I'm sorry to see the series end, but end it did (no cliffhangers) and in a most satisfying way.

Fantastic book and a hell of an ending to one of my favorite series. I was glad he didn't lose another body part. It was close lol.

I loved this series. It was a great conclusion to the series, everything came full circle. I will miss Jake Helman, I thought he was a great character and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this series. I look forward to reading other books by this author.
