AJ grew up in Perth, Western Australia. She is the third of six children and her first exposure to romance was her parents. Now married for almost 55 years, they have always been her example when working on her own marriage and parenting skills.
Jane Austen, the Bronte sisters and Georgette Heyer, were the writers she grew to love in adolescence and still loves now. Her list of favorite authors now has grown to include, not only historical but also contemporary authors as well. Sadly, she doesn’t have as much time to indulge in novels as much as she would like. Her family and now writing her own novels, keeps her very busy, but you will always find a book on her nightstand.
Other hobbies include cooking, one her favorite television shows is The Next Iron Chef on Food Network, and traveling, the UK and the Caribbean her favorite places to visit.
She and her husband of 28 years, reside on the west coast of the USA and have two grown children, making them empty-nesters, and recently adopted a rescued puppy, Max, from the local humane society.

Whatever happens in Vegas Never stays in Vegas these days. Jessie is heading to Vegas with her three close friends for her Bachelorette party. Asher is heading to Vegas with his three best friends for Lucas’s bachelor party. Their paths cross, heads are turned, feelings are felt and then it’s time to head home. Can Jessie leave Vegas in Vegas? Can she still marry the man that she loves but doesn't have the sparks with? Can Asher make partner and stop working 80 hours? Can they find their happy ever? Everyone needs water to live, can water really be the answer to finding the one who that makes the fireworks in your heart go off. After two years and many encounters will the happy ever after finally happen? This is a very well written book and I loved the story line, once I got into it I couldn't put it down. AJ’s has done it again, with the telling two stories in one book. Definite a must read!

Las Vegas is a feel good story about the unexpected turns that life can take, self-discovery and finding love at the right time and place. This is not a story about insta-love. This love story takes its time and matures. It is a restorative read and one full of hope.

Jessie and her friends are taking a trip to Vegas to celebrate her impending nuptials when a chance encounter with Asher shakes her to the core and forces her to confront the life and decisions she has taken for herself. Jessie has been born into money and everything seemingly handed to her on a plate: education, money, expensive clothes, car and a prospective husband. Forced to confront some home truths, she looks deep to realise that this is not the life that she wants. Asher is taking a hard look at what he wants from his life and is in Vegas for his best friend's bachelor party. He wants the type of love they have. They say what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas...except if you are these two.

Whilst this a love story that is at times frustrating as you watch the two of them fumble around each other, neither speaking what is in their hearts, it is, for me, Jessie's journey of self-discovery that captured my attention. Forced to confront herself and some things outside her control, we watch her journey from unhappiness to pure joy as she finds her place in the world and her self confidence.
With some old favourites making a guest appearance, this is another first class read.

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas or atleast that is how the saying goes? But it doesn’t always work out that way and some times for the better. A group of 4 guys to Vegas for a bachelor party and another group with 4 girls go for a bachelorette party. These two groups don’t know each other at all. The groom to be knows for sure he wants to marry his bride to be. However the bride to be in the girls group isn’t so sure. She loves her husband to be and knows he is a perfect at first impression. However she doesn’t know if he is perfect for her. She meets one of the guys from the bachelor party several times. The last night they are there they wind up spending the night together. She has already decided that she doesn’t want to marry her husband to be. She learns the next morning the he is also from he is from the same town as her. But what are the chances they will run into each other when they get back home right? I loved this story as much as the first one in this series. It is very well written and the characters pull you into the story. This story was funny, romantic, and crazy. I can’t wait to read the next one in this series. Another great book AJ.

I was given this book in return for an honest review.

This is book 2 in the Sky Romance novels. Each one is a standalone. Doesn't the cover just call out to you? Definitely gorgeous with a classy fun read me tone.Once I began reading I realized the cover isn't the only immediate attention grabber. Wow!! A 5 star (and higher)is immediately obvious. It is almost impossible to put down. The storyline is so entertaining and enjoyable. I was so engrossed and intrigued with every word- what would happen next? The smoothness and quality of writing is so amazing. The thoughts and plot flow. Throw in some terrific descriptive terminology and a superb story unfolds.Scenes and dialogue are so realistic and believable. Take a superb story and fill it full of magnificent characters -perfection occurs. Each role is so well written and vital. They are so full of emotions, energy, life, heartbreak, etc.. I did at times find myself talking and maybe even quarreling out loud. There were so many twist and turns. I highly recommend this book and author. No disappointment with either. Take this trip and adventure.. AndreaAH

Loved this story. Jessie, a teacher, finds that the man she thought she should marry to make her dad happy and to live a comfortable life, is really not the life she wanted. She meets a guy and denies her feelings through each time she runs into him, as he does the same. Her best friend is in love with her fiancé and a new friend has ties to the man she loves. Jessie has a lot of feelings to face throughout the story, and finds her happy ending. Destiny was truly working for these two. Loved it and can’t wait to get started with the third book in this series, Chicago.

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Simply fantastic! I loved both Jessie and Asher from the very start and greatly enjoyed reading their story. Loved the Las Vegas setting and found the environment described to be spot on(having been to Vegas myself last year). An all around fabulous read. Highly recommending.

Love in Vegas

This was a cute story, but it has a few flaws. The editing missed quite a few mistakes, which is a real turnoff for me. I also thought it had a lot of unnecessary dialogue. I did enjoy the book, and the coming of age some of the characters had.
