I love the work of John Piper - it is a superb merger of modern and traditional, of abstract and figurative. Piper excelled in almost every field he worked in but his stained glass, most often associated with the great modern cathedrals (Coventry and liverpool) or the country churches he so loved, also reflects his deep religious beliefs.
