Those like who like contemporary romances without clichès, will love it. It's not a novella but it's not too long so you can read it one go. The plot is realistic and stellar. There's suspense, hot as hell chemistry between the MCs and haunting past that follows the h.

Holden is an ex-navy SEAL and is our MC. He promises to protect Bria, who's running from her abusive ex-husband. Their journey was sweet, hot and endearing. The writing and narration is amazing, it holds your interest til the last page.

Really good

This story brings up a lot of points that happen in real life. A female soldier under my command was in that position. Fortunately he did not approach her while she was working. One day she came to work with a black eye. I took her to the MPs office and they handled it quickly.

Book 4 in the Protectors Series by Stephanie Morris

This story is about Bria and Holden. Bria is on the run from her abusive ex-husband and Holden is the man who wants her to face her fears and stop running.

I am loving this series about all the men who start off protecting these women and end up loving them. Enjoyable reads!
