Faye Turner is a nineteen-year-old homeless prostitute addicted to cocaine.

Her life is simple, bouncing from one high to the next, bent over greasy truck seats for faceless men. But everything changes when Rhett Hale comes back into her life. Her devilishly handsome step-brother brings life-changing news and a special kind of hate reserved only for Faye. But all the hate in the world can’t hide Rhett’s lust for her.

He wants something wild. Something filthy.

And Faye is tempted to give him just that.

***Filthy is a dark erotic serial novel that will release monthly in segments of around 50 pages each. This book is not for those who like a traditional heroine. Faye and Rhett's story is dark, complicated, and twisted with themes that are not acceptable to all readers. Read at your own risk.***

★★★★ ½! Filthy 1, book 1 of 6. Prostitute & drug addict Faye’s life is set into a tailspin when her step brother who broke her heart comes to take her home!

“My life was dirty. I was dirty.”

Books in Filthy serial should be read in order:
Book 1: Filthy 1
Book 2: Filthy 2
Book 3: Filthy 3
Book 4: Filthy 4
Book 5: Filthy 5
Book 6: Filthy 6

Filthy (part 1) opens up to another day in the fucked up and filthy life of prostitute Faye Turner’s life as she frequents truck stops and screws customers to feed he coke addiction.

But it wasn’t always like that. She was once a priced daughter living in a mansion with a closet full of clothes. Why would anyone leave such a life behind?

When her step brother, attorney and law partner Rhett Hale shows up she confuses him for a customer instead of the brother she crushed on while she was a teenager and he a university law student.

He has come to take her back home for a funeral and during the trip their past unravels; secrets, hurts and bits and pieces of what derailed Faye’s life.

Caught between her past and present, truth and lies and the men who want to possess her, Fay sinks deeper into her darkness…

photo fi1-6 he BS by sb_zpslpq8xxyt.gif

Faye Turner is beyond broken, more to unfold with story. She might come across as weak living in the streets screwing men for her next snort, but what she escaped is so much worse. Seven words to describe Faye: Resilient, strong, misguided, complex, captivating, broken and spellbinding.

“She was flawed, a woman who gave her love too easily to all the wrong men.”

 photo fi1 H BS by sb_zpsrzfafhft.gif

Rhett Hale is so torn between his feelings for Faye, has lust, love, disappointment, anger and disgust. This is very much his journey also. Seven words to describe Rhett: Conflicted, angry, protective, misguided, stubborn, oblivious and private.

“How does it feel to want to fuck me, someone so beneath you?”

Filthy, told from Faye’s POV is a dark and gruesome tale that will tug at your heart and connect you with Faye on her journey of conquering her past. It ends with a lustful cliffy, leading right to book 2, Filthy 2 for the continuation of her story.

Addicting plot! Captivating heroine! Sexual tension galore!

My life was dirty. I was dirty. And I was okay with that. It was me.

This is the story of Faye, a nineteen-year-old prostitute and cocaine addict. All she wants is her next high, willing to do anything and everything for a few moments to forget....forget the past that she ran from, forget the pain she endured, and forget the pieces of her that she will never get back. But all that changes when Rhett Hale tracks her down and all but drags her from the hell of her choice, making her face the past she tried so hard to leave behind. Their hate bleeds into their lust, but it can never happen, Mr. Perfect thinks the worst of her and her dearest step brother would never cross that line no matter how much he wants something dirty.
He wanted something wild. Something better. Something dirty. Filthy. He wants me.

Filthy was a bang of a read, throwing us straight into her life, the life she chooses to live, we may not know all the reasons why but we begin to build the pieces of her past. This isn't a pretty love story, rather a car crash in the making, gabbing me and not letting me go. Faye's addiction was felt through each page, it owns her, mind, body and soul. Rhett is an asshole, not even attempting to hiding his disgust of his step-sister, and behind it all you can feel him fighting his attraction to Faye. Definitely a great start to what seems like will be an even better series. Recommended to my friends who can find hope in the darkest of places.

About The Story
____________________________________________

Faye Turner, ran away from home when she was only 16 years old. She's been surviving by selling her body and is using drugs as way to get by. Her life is a cycle of getting fucked, getting paid and then getting high. She dimly remembers being happy and she also remembers the one person she almost fell in love with. Her step-brother, Rhett Hale.

He shows up unexpectedly with very grave news, and Faye is thrown back into the life she ran away from. But a lot of things have changed. One of them being that Rhett hates her and second being that he also lusts for her body. When Faye realises that Rhett has moved on with his life and has the perfect girlfriend, someone she could never match. She becomes resentful and is hell bent on proving to Rhett and herself that Rhett could never settle for clean and perfect.

My Thoughts
____________________________________________

My only complaint about this book is that it is incredibly short, and it left me wanting more. Faye is a really raw character, she's really young but in her head she's far older. She's been through a lot and she knows how to survive. The one thing she can always count on is her how men react to her body, and she uses it. Megan's writing is real and gritty, I've read a few books where the heroine is a prostitute but a lot of the time it's glamourised. This isn't the case with Filthy. I really hope the next installment is released soon because I'd really love to know what happens next!

Well what to say..................mmmm.
This was a free 48 page dark and twisted start to a six part series. This book is not for people who are not into dark subjects. I mean this is the first paragraph:

“Fuck, take it you little slut,” the guy growled behind me. I clung to the headrest of his relaxed truck seat while he pounded into me, my fingers sliding on the greasy fibers. “You like it?”

Faye is a prostitute at a truck stop living in a field next to it in a tent.
 photo truckstop_zpsmdtagufd.gif

Faye is heavily addicted to cocaine as it helps fight off the evil demons of her past, this is the driving force that keeps her selling herself.
 photo cokelines_zpscmyyod9q.gif

We learn part of what drove Faye to this sad life and the story is devastating.
I had planned to just read this as a break between other books, but this quick twisted book pulled me in and I have not been able to stop reading Faye's story since.

Dark And Disturbing

This short serial begins the story of Faye, a teenage prostitute and a cocaine addict. It is raw, gritty and disturbing. Despite the crudeness, and her rough around the edges demeanor, I found myself drawn to Faye's story.

When the stepbrother that she'd crushed on years earlier renters her life to take her home for her mother's funeral, things are tense to say the least. Rhett seems to have equal parts desire and disgust for his younger stepsister. In no time at all, she is creating an upset in his perfectly boring life.

The first of several serials, this is an incredibly fast read. At only about 50 pages, it can be read easily in an hour or so. More of a teaser than a story, I can't wait to read the next one to see where this story goes.

Where the hell has this book been hiding?

The 'Filthy' serials get more and more effed up and twisted as they go along. It touches on soooo many 'wrong' things; drug addiction, prostitution, forbidden love, cheating, death, homelessness, rape, sexual assault, underage sex, murder.... And that's only 140 pages so far.

It's drama and action filled, it's dark and it's gritty, it's FILTHY.... it's easily become one of my favourite serial series, roll on the next one!

My review for this series is long overdue, and since I’m doing a series re-read in honor of the final installment, I decided it was finally time to try and express why I love these books so much.

From the first words on the first page, the reader is plunged into Faye’s world, and it is not a pretty sight. Just a girl of nineteen, Faye is homeless, addicted to cocaine and works as a prostitute to support her addiction. From an outside perspective, her life is bleak, but we soon learn that the horrors she escaped at home are greater than the ones she faces on her own.

We are introduced to a guy, but I hesitate to call him a hero. He seems to be much more keen on playing the villain right now. When Rhett finds Faye he has nothing but contempt, disgust and the news of a dead mother to offer Faye. He seems to harbor serious resentment for her and her living/working situation yet he makes no effort to discover the motives behind Faye’s drastic life change.

This installment is very much just the tip of the iceberg, reading closely will reveal small slivers of information about Faye’s life before she ran away. The information we glean is just enough to provide half-answers and tons more questions. The not knowing, and the anticipation of darker truths keep me glued to the pages.

This is my first time doing any art, I would love to hear any thoughts you have about it :)

Rating 2.2.15: ★★★★ (because this series is the yummiest of dark novellas and it's taboolicious and perfect)

**Warning: contains dark themes, offensive language and graphic sexual content**

My life was dirty. I was dirty. And I was okay with that.

As much as I enjoy dark reads, I couldn't really wrap my head around this one. And I don't know why...

I'm going to show him what he's been missing all these years. I'm going to fuck him out of my system.
I'm going to fuck my brother.

description

Well, there goes my fucking dinner.

Technically step-brother - but let's not get caught up on the technicalities. I'm just kidding, please for the love of all that is holy give me technicalities! Especially ones which would indicate a lack of incest.

All vomit-inducing thoughts aside, we have a tortured heroine, which I love. A prostitute by age nineteen, Faye Turner spends her days and nights fucking men and snorting coke - until a family issue brings her home, and into the life of Rhett, her STEP-BROTHER (bold caps, you know, for emphasis).

It might be because I'm tired, but my imagination painted such an unattractive image of Rhett. Blond, spiked hair covered his head. A short trimmed beard covered his masculine jaw. Green eyes stared back at me, sparkling with something that looked like hate.

description

I don't know about you, but that doesn't sound very attrac...no wait. Never mind. Rhett is now a babe in my head. I wanna shove this book down my pants. Okaaaay, moving on.

This read is disturbing, dark and erotic, and even though I didn't enjoy some aspects, dark romances with disturbed characters always get me. Always. Always always always always.

Filthy 2 get in ma pants. God, I need some shut-eye.

“I leaned in, letting my chest press harder against his, hard enough where I knew he could feel my throbbing nipples. “How does it feel to want me? A prostitute. Your own fucking sister.” I smiled sinfully. “How does it feel to want to fuck me, someone so beneath you?”

I barely got the words out before he snapped. I saw it there in his eyes, as if he had no control. His palm slammed into the side of my face, like a brick, knocking the air from my lips and sending pain shattering across my skull. Before I could react, cry out, or even think, his hand was gripping my chin and his lips were mashing against mine.”

I. Love.

** 4,5 So-Weird-But-F*cking-Awesome STARS **

Faye Turner is a 19-year-old prostitute. She is a filthy coke-head. She is lonely. She is empty inside. All she cares about is to get her next hit. She needs the high to cope with her past that seems to be impossible to forget. It doesn't matter that she has to sleep with some guy on his truck seat to afford it. Or if she has to blow her dealer. Her life is simple that way, and she is okay with that...she thinks.

There were moments in time like these, where I looked at my life and wished it was a little bit different. I wished that I wasn't at a man's mercy.

When Rhett Hale, the only person that Faye ever even came close to loving, comes back to her life, the simple cycle that is her life changes drastically. Rhett is Faye's brother...well, step-brother, on whom she used to have a terrible crush. That was 3 years ago though. Before she ran away from "home", when she was just a 16-year-old little girl... Before she escaped the monsters in her life.

Rhett has very bad news: Faye's mother...the woman that "loved the men in her life more than her own daughter"...the woman that "is only able to love herself" is dead. Rhett is here to take Faye to her mother's funeral, the woman that has been like a mother to him since she got married with his father. He is doing this just for the memory of her. Not for Faye, no, because he is absolutely disgusted with her. Rhett despises the woman that Faye has become...or does he?

"You disgust me."

"No, I don't..."

He may not have wanted me back then, back when I was just a silly little girl with a crush. But he wanted me now. ~FAYE

"You've been here hardly twenty-four hours and you've turned everything upside down." ~RHETT

Lemme tell you something, this book is pretty intense and definitely not for the faint-hearted. It's the kind of book that makes you uncomfortable...WHICH IS FREAKIN' AWESOME!!!

The sexual tension and "love-hate" between these 2 step-siblings is quite palpable. It feels wrong sometimes...but just as right.

"So tell me, Rhett, how does it feel?"

"How does what feel?"

"How does it feel to want me? A prostitute. Your own fucking sister. How does it feel to want to fuck me, someone so beneath you?"

After reading Drowning in Rapture, I knew I would adore anything that comes out of Megan D. Martin's pen. I was right.

...But I knew better. He wanted more. He wanted something wild. Something better. Something dirty. Filthy. He wants me. ~FAYE

Okay so we all know by now I have NO shame in saying I love a good scandy ready. I'll talk about it, I'll blog about it, I'll tweet about it, I just don't care... Then there are a few times when I read something like this and get confused. I thought this was suppose to be a steamy story?!? Turns out I accidentally picked up a comedy.

Faye is a runaway prostahooker who gets brought home one day by her step brother Rhett who is only trying to help get her to go to her mom's funeral. This books is all sorts of weird. Like this story has every cliche and taboo thing you could think of in it. There's: cancer, prostitution, STDs, forbidden love, molestation, dark secrets, flip out at funerals it's like the worst episode of SVU in the history thrown into a book.

Faye ran away from home because her stepfather is abusing her, and her mother refused to do anything about it because she loved his money too much. So Faye decides to become a hooker and sleep with random dudes at truck stops and live in a tent in a field. One day her step-brother comes and gets her and tell her she has to come with him because her mother has died and she needs to pay her respects. Sounds ok so far right? WRONG, from there on out the story goes off-roading into a land of bizarre. I'll wrap everything up for you. Trust me you want to be spoiled.

She gets to her step brothers house and acts a fool. Her step brother hates her but wants to sleep with her even though he's soooo in love with his long time girlfriend. He takes Faye to a clinic where we find out ya girl has the Clap.

They go to her mothers funeral where she freaks out and they have a not so but yet semi steamy scene... at her mother's funeral which is beyond gross. Then they go back after the funeral for that thingy where you have to see all your family members. Of course her step dad is there, BUT he convinces her to sleep with him for drugs. That scene alone is just dumb, Oh AND ALSO GROSS. Then the funerals over and she goes back to her day job where she does some weird ass action role playing with some of her "clients". Then as if the book couldn't get any worse it does. She continues to sleep with her step dad for drugs and her step brother is super jealous. It only got more and more out of hand from there. I just couldn't; this whole thing was a flipping mess. I didn't know what I did more of laughing or rolling my eyes.

This book is in no way hot. It's actually really disgusting. This girls V needs a serious overhaul, like I'm really worried it's going to break off. The least of her worries should be her drug issues with a V like that. The only thing I kind of liked about this "series" is that it was released in pieces, but even that kind of peeved me off too. This book is far far far from hot.

☆ I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you SO MUCH hun!! ☆

description

#Holy hell, I need MORE from series already!!

Filthy was one of those dirty reads where I felt almost guilty just for reading it! Buahahaha.

Author Megan D. Martin, puts a naughty twist on serials as we meet Faye Turner, a “nineteen-year-old homeless prostitute addicted to cocaine.”

All of this changes of course, when Rhett Hale, her sex on sin stepbrother, steps back into her world and puts a spin on things.

From endless one night stands and bending over for strange truck drivers, Rhett's obvious disdain toward Faye’s lifestyle of choice makes her question everything extending to the long time crush she’s had on him for years. But there is a catch, Rhett has a girlfriend and as much as he tries to remain indifferent to her, Faye knows that he’s clearly infatuated with her.

What will become of these two? And with Faye tempting Rhett in every irrevocable way and turn to give into forbidden pleasures, will their romance ever take fold? Or is it simply doomed from the very beginning? Read and you will find out!!

My thoughts: #A surprise read that definitely left me wanting more from this serial minus Sarah’s annoying presence in it!! She made me want to hit something! Lol. Great job Megan and I look forward to more in regards to Faye and Rhett’s backgrounds and how Faye came to be a prostitute and why she’s so distant with her family. We are given some clues and I can kind of piece together what happened to her but I’m still unsure…

So over all, a lovely start of a new dark, controversial romance filled with tension, secrets, and a dip into something wild…something filthy…

Faye. Homeless. Coke head. Prostitute.

This was my first experience with Megan D. Martin. I figured that I’d dip my toes in with this short serial series to get a feel for the author, instead I was submerged into a world that was far more twisted than that fucking blurb let on.

Faye is a nineteen year old girl that has spent the last three years on the streets. Lurking behind the truck stop looking for her next fuck to feed her next fix. Running away from what on the outside might have looked like a perfect life, she’d rather be homeless than live inside her childhood home. When a familiar face picks her up one night, forcing her to return home, old feelings return. Rhett, the much older step-brother, the boy that was the only bright spot in her youth has found her to bring her back home. But she’s nowhere near the little girl that he remembered.

So a lot of information is thrown at you in book one. I have to say that this series is much darker than I expected and although the tension between Rhett and Faye is electric, there are aspects of this story that leaves you feeling a bit filthy.

I picked this one up (along with book two) as a freebie and had to immediately click the next two in the series and devoured all four parts. And although I ultimately enjoyed this installment and the subsequent books, I feel like I shouldn’t have. But that is what is so fantastic about a series like this – it’s so fucking twisted that you can’t look away. I think I might be one-clicking my way through her other titles.

OMG I loved this book so fucking much, actually I loved all 3 parts of it and can't wait to be November 3rd for part 4!!
It was such an emotional rollcoaster, it's dark, filthy, sexy and disturbing as hell!!

I saw this book only yesterday for the first time and it had me at 19 years old prostitute! Her story is painful and disturbing! Faye has been broken beyond repair! She was betrayed in the most ugly way from the people that should have loved and cared for her! They stole her dreams, stole her life. Only one person brings rays of sunshine in her dark dirty miserable life, Rhett her stepbrother...her secret love!
Rhett is a 29 years old successful lawyer, son of a rich businessman, he's associate in one of the most important law firms in Dallas. Blonde, green eyes, tall, large shoulders he's sexy as hell! He loves and hates Faye...and is in constant war with himself about his feelings regarding his stepsister.

I loved the story plot, I loved the heroine so much, I love damsel in distress, I loved the hero, I love fucked up stories and this is totally one!!

This is not a sweet romance is dark, is twisted, is totally disturbing, but also very hot!

If you love dark stories, dark romances I totally recommend this series to you!!

P.S: My review is written after reading all 3 parts, I find it difficult to review single short parts, so my recommendation to you is read all 3 of them ;)

Suspenseful. A dark secret from the past. Sexual tension overload. I LOVED IT!

***FIVE DAMN FILTHY STARS!***

I understand this may or may not be for everyone due to the relationship between the main characters -- being step siblings and all but try to keep in mind that there are no blood ties. I mean considering Faye's trainwreck of a relationship with her mother, it didn't even feel like it was THAT forbidden.

Anyway, this book was a great start to the series. It set up the intrigue towards Faye's past and what caused her to run away at such a young age. I definitely like Faye's character, she was very strong-minded, wasn't afraid to show her true emotions and was the total opposite of naive. She understands how cruel the world can be and that not everything is just black and white. I also.. What caused her to run away at such a young age was so... it hurt my heart. :(

There was a lot of sexual tension going on between Rhett and Faye. It was so palpable. I'm interested to see how everything will play out. The secret she kept from Rhett. Why her mother didn't protect her. And what will happen after everything's out in the open.

AHH THERE'S SO MUCH I WANT TO SAY OM FAYE'S CHARACTER BUT I CAN'T PIECE MY THOUGHTS TOGETHER SBSHDJS

Never thought I would start this book cz of some obvious reasons
1. It's a series with a major twist and lately I wait for the whole series to finish before picking it to read.

2.The blurb was definitely not suggesting a HEA.

But despite all these I started this book (Okay it was more because of the recommendation by my friend Yasmine but finally I'm glad I read it.

It had a new story from all the thrillers I've been reading so that was a major plus point.Yes, it was justifying its name..Filthy but for me it was more intriguing.

I liked knowing Faye and would love to read more of her story.
If anyone of you are having second thoughts about reading this one..don't be just pick it up and take a chance, maybe you too'll like it

I love books that start off with a bang and this one certainly does… Literally! The very first page of Filthy is our female MC (a prostitute) getting pounded (AKA banged) by some random guy. When I choose to read a book called, "Filthy", I expect and hope to read about some real filthy people involved in dirty activities. Unfortunately, many books don't deliver what they promise but Megan D. Martin definitely does! Filthy is definitely smutty yet the book also contains interesting characters and a deep, meaningful storyline. In addition, it appears that there is more smut, drama and maybe even some romance in Filthy# 2 (which I am very eager to read)! If there hadn't been spelling errors, missing words and hey poorly-placed cliffhanger ending the book before , I would have given this book 5 stars.

RELEASE DATE: 4th of AUGUST 2014

To say I was excited to read this book is an understatement.

The only problem that I had with this book, is I WANT MORE and I WANT IT NOW! It was way too short for 44 pages. So I hope the 2nd book comes out soon.

FAYE TURNER :

This is my Faye…

Faye Faye Turner is a nineteen-year-old homeless prostitute addicted to cocaine.

This girl has some serious problems. She ran away from home, and she thinks what she is doing is ‘ok’.

RHETT HALE:

This is my Rhett.

Rhett is Faye’s stepbrother. (Thank god not real brother because otherwise this would have been very weird for me haha). Rhett is trying to save Faye. Will he be able to save her and does she really WANT to be saved? He is such an asshole, but he cannot help himself with Faye, he is attracted to her, but do you think he will admit it? Hopefully in the other books he will be more open about his feeling and not such an asshole haha. But then again we do love the assholes haha

My favourite quotes of this book: (I will just post my 2 favourite quotes)

What’s there to tell? I’m just a homeless prostitute. I don’t have morals or reasons, apparently.

I was good at reading men. I mean, fuck, it was my job. I had to read men, fuck men, please men. It wasn’t hard.

YESSSSSSSSSSSS! I got a ARC whoop whoop!

4.5 CRAZY AWESOME STARS

Faye is a nineteen year old prostitute. We know why, although she hasn't said it out loud. When her step-brother Rhett finds her after three years, on the street in order for her to attend her mother's funeral, we know.

Rhett doesn't know and he's nasty and cruel to Faye. He sees her as nothing but dirty... Filthy. But, does he really?

In Faye's own words...

Rhett Hale was my brother. He lived in his own perfect little world, with his perfect little girlfriend. But I knew better. He wanted more. More than this stiff boring little apartment, more than the bland simple things that made him feel safe. He wanted something wild. Something better. Something dirty. Filthy.

He wants me.

I loved this. And considering its a novella that's big for me. I never like anything short. Never tells enough of a story, never tells me what I need to keep going. But this one did. I'm freaking out that I have to wait month to month to get the next installments. That's not fair. I want Rhett to know how wrong he is about Faye. I want him to feel bad for thinking of her as some bratty little kid four years ago, the last time he saw her. I want him to feel the pain that Faye has had to endure... Yet I want him to love her. Because Faye deserves to have what she wants in life. She deserves to have the boy turned man, that she's always wanted, want her back.

The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is because I wanted Faye to wipe his superior attitude right off his face and tell him why she was the way she was. I can only hope Rhett figures it out soon. Before she's hurt more than he's already hurt her, both in the past and the present. More than she's already been in her life.

Oh how a love a good taboo short. Filthy 1 completely took me by surprise. I was not expecting such a gritty short packed with dimensions and likeable characters. In addition, I like the anomaly the characters have regarding their pasts.

Both main characters are interesting and provide an unreached depth to the story I look forward to seeing how author, Megan D. Martin reveals in subsequent books.

The cliffhanging ending had me salivating for book 2 Filthy 2: A Dark Erotic Serial, which by the way I'm starting now:
...He wanted more. More than this stiff boring apartment, more than the bland simple things that made him feel safe. He wanted something wild. Something better. Something dirty. Filthy. He wants me.
