About the author

Rae is a daydreamer, nurse, bookworm, nature enthusiast, wife, momma, animal activist and an optimist. She has lived her entire life in NYC and loves to travel with her family. She believes that sweets should have a larger piece of the nutritional pyramid and that Buffy the Vampire Slayer was one of the best TV shows ever invented. When she is not working as a nurse in her community, she can either be found reading, writing, or taking a walk while listening to music. She has been writing books in her mind for as long as she can remember but decided that maybe there were others out in the world that would find joy in the words she would put down on the page.

A Dark, Dirty MC Read

Leo is the President of the Chrome Creed MC and he runs things with an iron fist. Nisa’s brother was a part of the club but when he was killed, the club left her and her mother behind even though they said they would be there for them.

Nisa did what she had to in order to survive. The problem was even though she had always wanted Leo she was blinded by a man who would turn out to be the Chrome Creed’s biggest enemy. Now where would her loyalties lie especially with Leo and the club coming back into her life.

This was an awesome MC read that had just the right amount of steam, suspense and drama. I always look forward to what this author has coming next.

What was this?

One word, EDIT! This book had so many mistakes it was pitiful! I really tried to read it, but ended up skimming the thing.
This was a book that could have worked, but ended up being an unfinished story.
If my mother was burned in a fire I would live at the hospital, that didn't happen. If my brother's casket was stolen from a cemetery, I would have blasted that everywhere! The author never told us what happened to his body or any update about the mother.
Leo, being an MC leader, was a weak, immature butthead, who repeated his inner musing over and over.
Just a poorly written book.

There is absolutely no way that this is the ending...

Could it pissible author Rae B. Lake may be leaving the Kindle Vella platform? That this this little teaser may becom... Dare I say it? A full fledged BOOK! Author willing I hope so!!!! After all not may readers are happy with it (myself included).

Because surely this is not where it ends with so many unanswered questions... Possibly the start to a new series???

We shall see!!

This needed an editor or someone to actually proofread it so bad!! So many grammar and spelling errors to the point it was distracting. Also the plot was kinda weak and the spice was mid. I didn’t really feel the spark between our love interests as well.

Her brother was part of the club until he was killed. Since his death, the club has been distancing her trying to force her to stay away. It’s his birthday and the club is having a party. The last person he expects to see walking around is her, he promised her brother he would keep her safe so he orders her to leave the compound, a few minutes later I’ll hell breaks loose. They always have enemies, but someone has brought it to their doorstep this time, and it seems that she is caught in the crossfire. It’s time to reconcile their past and figure out their future. And that means claiming her. This is an MC romance, so you are definitely getting some of the gritty, and danger here. I thought the characters were well written you had a strong sense of who each of them were and what their motivations were. They had chemistry between them that kept pulling them together. I thought this MC was a little bit chaotic, I don’t know how to describe it other than to say it felt a little immature. Usually the MC hierarchy is pretty strong, has a clear hierarchy, a strong club culture, and a sense of honor/respect. Well, some of these things were true, the leadership felt young, indecisive, and without a clear vision… somewhat like a bunch of kids in a clubhouse. I also didn’t really love that it was front loaded with the MMC having spice on page with ow (before they got together) but then it took so long for them to get together. I felt it left me hanging a little and I wanted to feel connected to them as a couple. They have some rival MC drama to navigate, which is the secondary arc in the story.

The Biker's Forbidden Virgin is the first book in the Chrome Creed MC series. It is a decent start. The title fits the tale, but in this world of alpha males taking what and who they want, especially with everyone being on the take, it was hard to believe that there was a virgin in their midst. One element that did come through with the MCs, family and loyalty are everything and they will protect anyone who is family to the death.

There is an engaging interesting cast of characters that pull you into the story, though at times Nisa was a little immature and irritating. Leo is not your typical MC Prez, or perhaps he is more realistic than others encountered in books. He is definitely loyal to his MC family, and he does what he has to do to keep them from hurt and harm. Unfortunately, secrets have a way of coming back to bite you and perhaps in the next book in the series we will see how things pan out with the secrets he has kept.

There are so many possibilities for the next story, most obvious is Jayne's dilemma and what that will do to Spike. However, Rumble and Phoenix's story needs to be told too, and we need to get to know the other men in the MC. Regardless, I look forward to whatever is next for Chrome Creed MC.

Leo is brash in every aspect of him being a man. He is hard as President of his MC, ruling with an iron fist. His attitude to the women is coarse and crude, except his thoughts and feelings are focused on Nisa, the only woman he can't have due to a promise her made to her brother.
Nisa is wilful. Her rejection after the death of her brother pushed her to Marc. Her plight at his hands is brutal and despite her bravado at dealing with it, she is completely under his control. She is, at times, like a teenager in a strop. She is harsh in tone and behaviour. Nisa certainly gives Leo a run for his money; shevis challenging and argumentative, completely focused on her life and those in it.
It is brutal at times, sympathetic at others. Dangerous definitely and threats surround the club to breaking point. It has all the harsh style of MC living and the softer side of a family. A mixed bag of the good, the bad and the ugly nature of a person and of life. Taking down the bad guy creates drama after drama.

This is the 1st book in the Chrome Creed MC series featuring Leo and Nisa's steamy action-packed, alpha-male, forbidden, MC romance. Leo is the President of the Chrome Creed MC and Nisa's brother was a member of the club until he was killed. Nisa has had feelings for Leo for quite some time but ever since her brother died Leo and the rest of the club have been keeping their distance from her due to a promise Leo made to her brother. However when the club throws a party for Leo's birthday he's shocked to see Nisa there and he tells her to leave the party and the compound. That's when all hell breaks loose and Nisa becomes a victim caught in the crossfire. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this steamy action-packed, alpha-male, forbidden, MC romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

I enjoyed this biker romance. The traditional MC Romance elements of brotherhood and loyalty are present, which I always enjoy. But what makes this book really special is that it’s a page turner. Each chapter ending drives the beginning of the next chapter, until suddenly you realize you’ve been reading past your bedtime and the cats are going to go on strike if you don’t hurry up and feed them the dinner you should have served three hours ago. Or is that just me?

This is a great story, the characters work off each other very well. Nisa has had a crush on Leo since she was younger and her brother was a prospect and gave his life for the club.
Leo made a promise to Hugh, Nisa’s brother , to leave her alone. This works for a while,but soon they give into their attraction.
Nisa has been involved with a power hungry, pain in the butt ex, who Nisa started running with,after the club froze her out. This piece of crap threatened Nisa with violence against herself and her mother.
Together they find a deep and lasting love, but. Also work together to bring the piece of crap down,while trying to work on their future.

Leo swore to Nisa's brother that he would keep her out of the MC life. Little did he know the club stepping back from her would leave her vulnerable to another predator. Now she is involved with an enemy of the club but cannot get away.

Leo made an oath but knowing she has gotten into something worse the Chrome Creed MC, he will not be holding back, he will make her his. It is not going to be that easy nor will he be able to protect her when she goes off on her own.

Hopefully this is the start of a new series, cannot wait for more from this club.

When Nisa's brother is killed Leo shuts her out of the MC thinking it is the best move considering her innocence and all her family lost. To Nisa she felt she lost another family Leo being the main one. They reconnect at his birthday, and it restarts their path. When she is injured from the fallout thanks to her bad decisions it is Leo who comes to her aid. Will their reconnection this time around bring about the relationship she wants with Leo that finally leads to happiness.

Leo & Nisa

Leo and Nisa's story is an action packed, steamy, edge of your seat, can't turn the pages fast enough thrill ride. Nisa has wanted Leo for a very long time, but a promise Leo made had him keeping not only himself, but the club away from her which let let her to make some not so great choices that has put everyone she loves at risk. This is one ride you don't wanna miss!!

Leo as Pres and Nisa as the little sister of a brother were both strong willed and attempted to keep their distance. But since he was the President of the MC he will be a target and what better to use as leverage than someone close to him.
They try and work together but it is stressful and will take a lot of working together to get out of the trouble, as well as becoming the equal couple that they each want.

Umm, where's Hugh? The story and delivery were really good, but there were questions left unanswered that the explanations won't work in follow up stories, at least the question involving Hugh. A nice steady flow to the story, and a nice set up for book 2.

Whew! This book has so much going on. I love the plot. I was pulled in immediately and read this book in one day. Leo and Nisa's characters were so well developed. I love how Nisa has some secrets that are revealed which surprised me. I love how the MC came together to protect everyone. Great book!.

This is Leo and Nisa's dramatic story. It's packed full of danger, chaos and lots of push and pull. It's a simmering heat kind of read. Leo wants her, has since he met her but fights it tooth and nail. This is a very engaging story that'll hold you from start to finish and that ending.....

Non stop action ! Leo and Nisa's story will keep you on the edge waiting for the next explosion either physically or mentally and any other bad thing that Marc can bring down on the Chrome Creed MC to prove he has the upper hand. I was enjoying the story so much next thing I knew I had finished it.
