Loved this book. I came across Leo Orsi in another context and discovered that he had written a fishing book, so I had to give it a read. I love to saltwater fish (Southeast), so I was especially interested.

I had no prior experience or knowledge of striper fishing, but after reading this book, I now want to get up to Block Island and land one myself. It’s on by bucket list.

The book is really an assemblage of great mini-stories, and I enjoyed the way they came together. I don’t think I’d call Leo an author by trade, but that never took away from my enjoyment of the book.

I’d recommend it to anyone interested in fishing, especially saltwater fishing. It’s not a super long read, so jump in and give it a shot.
