The last book of this series. This is a high-octane action novel with androids and other sci-fi elements. Great fight scenes, wonderful dog named Hero, fun plot, and good world building. Like how it ended.

Ughhh the final book!! This was a great series and the characters of Maris, Spyder, Kenny and the others will be missed. One of the things I didn’t like was Maris and Spyder getting together almost by default due to the Jove situation, I wish the author has allowed Maris to actually make her choice. Regardless, the book was action packed, Maris and her hound kicked everyone’s booty, but she also United warring factions against a common enemy for self preservation. Going from operating in the shadows, moving and hiding to being out in the open and helping the poor, gangs, androids all fight back + unite and learn to overcome their own bias in order to work together so outside for Ed could no longer control them was the pinnacle of success

Working together
Maris and her friends find out that there is another plot underway to take over Nuevo Diego and it leads back to an old enemy. Now they have to figure a way to unite the sectors of the city, to outwit the bad guys, and keep humans and androids safe. I really like all the characters and the storylines in this series and have never been disappointed by this author.

An excellent story bringing to a conclusion a good series
Maris, Spyder,Kenny and of course Hero are an engaging group of characters that were a pleasure to follow. The story had plenty of action and a sufficiently nefarious group of villains that kept me enthralled and both satisfied but disappointed to reach the end of this series
