She's determined not to fall. He's unwilling to let her go. But neither expected their second chance at first love to be this good.
Ridley Paisley Molina was a complication I never saw coming. She was heading to law school. I was on my way to Italy. After two weeks with her, I was ready to upend all my plans. Until she skipped town without a word. Now she's back, looking like sin, and swearing I broke her heart. I don't know what she's talking about, but I mean to find out. Unfortunately, she's made it clear that she'd rather set herself on fire. Too bad for her. She owes me answers, and I will be getting them. I tell myself that's the only reason I'm in her space with my hands all over her delectable body. I think we both know it's a lie. This thing between us isn't over. It never was. I intend to make damn sure she realizes it, too.
Paisley Once upon a time, I was wild for Ridley Goodson. He convinced me that he felt the same…and then he left the country. Waking up alone in his bed wasn't what I'd envisioned for my first time. I keep telling myself that I'm over it. That's a big fat lie. I thought I could avoid him forever. I guess that was a lie, too. Because he's back, looking more irresistible than ever. And I'm just as weak for him now as I was back then. But he is one mistake I do not intend to make again. Until I do. Now, I'm in danger of handing him my heart a second time. But is this really forever, or am I setting myself up for heartbreak all over again?
These alphas know a thing or two about running an empire. They've been managing the most profitable alcohol venture in California for years. But it hasn't left time for the things that matter--like love.
Until now.
Happily-ever-after (and hilarity) strikes exactly when fate intends for Wine Country's Most Eligible when a group of fiery women turn their lives upside down and prove there's no time like now to fall.
But it'll take a lot of convincing (and a whole lot of heat) to get these curvy women on the same page in this spicy small-town series.
Wine Country Alphas is a second-generation Her Alpha series, and each book can be read as a standalone title.
Four-time award-winning author Nichole Rose writes deliciously dirty rom-coms, sports, and small-town romance, featuring relatable curvy women and the devoted alpha men who can't live without them. From obsessed billionaires to over-the-top hockey players to the firefighter next door, no one is safe from the hilarious, sassy women she sets loose on the world. She loves delivering relatable characters, hilarious banter, and enough heat to make you squirm.
Nichole also writes dark romance as Nichole Fallon.
When not writing, Nichole enjoys fine wine, cute shoes, and everything supernatural. She is happily married to the love of her life and is a proud ringleader in the world’s most ridiculous chihuahua circus. She and her husband live in central Arkansas.
Ngl, these two were pretty frustrating in the beginning, but you just can't help but love them too, because they're adorable idiots. 😂
This was fun overall, I think. It's a second-chance romance, but with this author, I know it'll be safe. Anyway, the reason for their separation was kind of dumb if you really think about it. But we also have to remember that, before that, they had only known each other for two weeks, so there were plenty of things they still didn't know about each other. 🤷♀️
So after they finally gave in to their attraction, the morning after, Paisley woke up alone. When she looked for Ridley, one of his cousins told her that he had gone to the airport. He was supposed to go to Italy, but she came into the picture, and that changed everything for him. Apparently, he and his cousin can't change his flight details through a phone call; that's why they went to the airport. The thing is, he didn't tell Paisley about this. He just woke up and left her on her own; he didn't even leave a note or anything to know where he was going.
Anyway, back to Paisley, after finding out he was at the airport, it broke something in her, and she thought that he only used her. So she packed her stuff and went back to the city.
Ridley came back to the vineyard and found out that she was no longer there. Since she won't pick up any of his calls or texts, he went to her apartment and saw her smiling and hugging another man (her brother, but he didn't know this). So he also assumed he was used and that she was a liar. 🤦🏽♀️
Again, these two were idiots in love. Had they only talked to each other, there wouldn't have been a need for their three-year separation. They say they've been dodging each other for years, but now that her best friend—who's also his sister-in-law—decided to bring them together for their goddaughters' birthday, things are about to change. These two just have to put up with each other being around.
This was a novella, so the reveal of what really happened between them came up pretty quickly, even before we hit the halfway point. Also, these two are obviously still head over heels for one another, so there's not much denial and pulling away.
Once the truth came out, Ridley was determined to win back his girl, whatever it took, and he did it by bulldozing his way into her life. He didn't hear any objections anyway, and she definitely wanted to get back with him after everything. It's basically game over the moment they see one another. 😂
Anyhoo, this was frustrating and cute at the same time. Some parts made me tear up for some reason (or maybe because it’s the time of the month? 😂). I just love that they finally found their way back to each other. I’m so excited for the next one! 😁
Book info: - Novella - Second chance (3 yrs) - It’s always been you - Both are celibate during separation - Loss of loved one (past, off page) - Grief - No cheating, OM/OW - Dual V! 💕 - HEA (yrs later, married and with kids)
Great read. Reads fast and easy. •No cheating •Each others one and only •3 year separation •No real ow/om drama- om was her brother-part of the misunderstanding. •HFN/HEA-married
Grab a glass of wine and settle in for one of Nichole’s wonderful stories. I fell fully into Ridley and Paisley’s love journey full of emotion, loss, sizzle, humor and healing. Ridley was so darn hot alpha when he realized his mistakes and was determined to have a second chance. The dynamic between these two leapt off the pages. Loved all the family/friend meddling and support. I cannot wait for the next in this series! I received an advanced copy of this book and this is a voluntary review.
Dual Virgins! Safe No cheating No OM/OW Long separation of 3 years (both the crux and the failure of the book) No gross condom use No third act break up HEA
This is the story of Ridley and Paisley, who we get to know right off the bat with them fucking. I hate this intro, because it robs us of seeing them together before they finally get down to business, and also, it is the same way the hero's dad's story starts (I hate the alpha series NR wrote a long time ago and I would avoid it especially Ridley's father's story, who was in his day a sexist manwhore who fucked em and left them, and not nicely either). Good thing Ridley is not like his father, because he lost his virginity to Paisley, but just like his father, he was too much of a beta coward to go after the woman he says he loves. I love DV, always will, and it is the only good thing other than the grovel after they cleared the air. The morning after, Ridley went to the jewelers to get her a ring (yes! we love instalove), and then to the airport to change his ticket so he can stay with Paisley. Why can't it be done over the phone? He had to be at the ticket booth in person to transfer the ticket. Paisley wakes up to an empty bed and then ventures to talk to someone at the winery asking where Ridley is, to which she says that he left for the airport. Heartbroken, she leaves a note and in tears, leaves. Ridley comes back, finds the note, goes after her, but sees her hugging a man. That man is her brother, but he thinks she had a boyfriend. So what does this alpha do considering that Nichole Rose promised us an alpha hero? Well he ran over there punched the guy, plopped Paisley over his shoulder to kiss her senseless.....NAH! He did not do that! An alpha take charge hero would, but Nichole Rose seemed to have forgotten that she promised us an alpha. Instead, he gives up on her and leaves her with whom he thinks is another man. He is heartbroken, never bothered to talk to her and leaves for Italy for 3 YEARS! This is what killed the romance. He did not ask about her, he did not know she was miserable and heartbroken, but he fell in love with the woman he so easily gave up on. Hmmm, sorry but if that is an alpha man in love, then spare me. I believe that BOTH were at fault for this painful separation. He should have gone to her and confronted her and she knew where he lived, so she could have reached out as well! The reason why I blame him more is because of the author that conjured him. Nichole Rose promised us an ALPHA HERO and gave us a beta cuck instead. The excuse is he would rather her be happy, even if the guy fucking her isn't him. Um, WHAT??? I get that he saw her in the arms of another man and it pained him, but it wasn't romantic because that man was her brother! So, he could have gone up to them, and I get that the fact he didn't, is the reason for the story to develop, but I find it to be it's detriment as well. When they reunite, he is scowling, and so is she. Neither asked about how the other was doing, and both are there for a wedding. They say harsh words to each other, and then in tears she tells him she loved him, but he left. When he sees that this might be his fault and a big misunderstanding, he tried to talk to her. There is a scene where she has car trouble, and he offers her a ride back to the winery, and tried to ask who that man was he saw her with. She didn't answer, because he should have gone up to her to ask her that three years ago, so he lost the right to ask now. He had no excuse to give her because he gave up on her but kept saying that he had to get his head out his ass; an excuse I hate because it means nothing except for 'I didn't try because why bother'. Eventually he finds out the man was her brother, but for three years he thought that she was fucking another man and he LET THAT HAPPEN! I felt bad that he lived that way, but I also didn't. He should have fought for her! They were both in love enough to be completely faithful to one another (which I am thankful for), but not in love enough to fight for each other. The question remains, would either have gone to the other willingly to reconnect? No. The answer is no, because their love was weak. All the pain, the longing, the brooding is fine and all, but where was the fight? This doomed the story for me. He is the kind of man who would leave her at first sign of trouble and she will always doubt his commitment. She doubted his willingness to stay with her until damn near the end of the book! She heard a portion of the conversation between him and the other heroes in the series, thinking that he might not stay, of course it was yet another misunderstanding, but resolved right then and there, because he explains that what he meant is where she goes, he follows. He planned to uproot his life to follow her to LA if that is where she wanted to work as a lawyer, and she doubted him, because he did not ask her to stay. I am glad that was resolved, and I am glad that Ridley was hell bent to sticking to her like glue, but I cannot forgive nor can I forget the three years of him not bothering to fight for her. They did decide to stay at the winery and he did get the ball rolling by successfully getting her a job. She did earn it, but the earnest way of him wanting her with him now that he got her back did move me. At the beginning, I did not have high hopes, but I love dual virgin couples so much (and we know they were right at the first chapter which was awesome), that I warmed up to them both because one and only couples are the ones I root for. This is just my personal taste. He really grovelled, and made so many romantic gestures that made me swoon. I did love that he was sorry he gave up on her that by the end I do believe he is sorry. The whole thing with making wine the right taste that would remind him of her kisses made me smile. They are a couple in love, but as I said, they love each other enough to remain faithful pining for the other, but it is not strong enough for them to fight. Both gave up for three years, and it left me melancholic. The cloud of doubt will forever follow them, and it saddened me. It's like an overcast day. You want clear skies and sunshine, but that cloud forever covers the suns warmth, and although it peaks through and you soak up it's warmth, the clouds still remain. I am ok with misunderstandings, but I do not forgive when our hero, heroine or in this case both, give up on each other. If they did it once, whilst in love, then what makes me think they won't give up on each other later on in life. NR tried to answer that by saying that they lived miserably without one another, so they never want to feel that pain again, guaranteeing us that this couple will last, but although a part of me wants to believe it, the other part of me doesn't feel that way. Three years is too long. Dual virgin couples however is a trope I NEED for the romance to work, and it made me want to believe in their HEA. I really did enjoy when they cleared the air. I don't know, I may reread it someday and feel differently, who knows. The many times Ridley plopped Paisley over his shoulder and begged for her forgiveness made me warm up to them by the end but that is only because they are each others first last and only. I hope the other two in the series will be better than this, and I certainly pray for an all DV series. If it is an all DV series, then all the stories will have been worth it, and I am looking forward to the other books to come.
I don't know what is going on in Nicole Rose's head these days, but grief her MFC's are so unlikeable at the moment.
Don't get me me wrong, while her previous ladies have not been pushovers by any stretch of the imagination, they were nice girls a perfect mix of sassy and sweet, and they do have gumption, so you absolutely can't assume they were weak.
But these last few releases? Grief! Who are these women??? They are so snarky and nasty! I mean the things they say and how they treat the MMC's are awful and hurtful! ...I sure as hell wouldn't have stuck around, and somehow they still have these poor fools begging for attention and desperate for their affection?! I can't even.
In this installment, I totally understood in the beginning, but WTF! When they finally figured out what was what and how everything was one colossal misunderstanding, somehow Paisley had Ridley begging for forgiveness when she was just as guilty? That pissed me off, and then...and then!! She finally "forgave" him (all the while still accepting his unnecessary apologies all the way) she was still going around doubting him, so much so, and this pissed me the hell off, at the first sign of trouble due to her misunderstanding (again), she turns around and runs (again) without wanting to talk to Ridley about it first! ....did she not learn her lesson the first time? ...and yet somehow, she still had Ridley making the apologies?
Cumaaaan Nichole, nobody likes a nasty, bitter MFC, it just makes them ugly, and kills the story!
- Second chance - 3 years seperation - Vinary // lawyer - Meddling from H family - Misunderstanding - Dual V - Both celibate during separation
This was so cute, but why couldn’t they just talk together?? Or their friends/family meddle enough for them to understand that them both had been miserable the last three years.
H thought h left him after they slept together. They had known each other for two weeks. He follows her and finds her hugging another man, and thinks the worst. h wakes up after their night together alone in H bed, and goes to find him. She finds out he left on a plane to Italy. She’s hurt by him, the way he just left the country without giving her a second thought. He didn’t leave, he went to change his seat on the flight for his cousin, and was going back to her. h leaves and gets comfort from her brother.
Safety: - completely safe - Dual virgins - Both celibate during separation - No owd - Omd: H sees h hugging her brother, he doesn’t know it’s her brother and thinks she had another man, and gets super hurt.
Super spoiler: it broke my heart for the h when she lost her brother only a week after everything with the H went down, and his she’s basically been on her own since

I absolutely LOVED it!!! Paisley and Ridley are true soulmates! Though misunderstandings kept them apart, they found their way back to each other. They healed each other and became stronger together. The chemistry between them is so intense and spicy AF🥵 Smexy times are panty meltingly DELICIOUS 🤤🔥 I am obsessed with this new series!! Can’t wait for the next one already!! Highly highly recommend this phenomenal book🩷
I wish I could post the side by side scenes showing how much Ridley is just like his dad Trevor, and the parallels between Gracie & Trevor and Paisley & Ridley. The story was so good, and this series and past generations books are so insanely addicting. I can’t get enough of how Nichole Rose writes such strong love and relationships throughout different branches of big family trees, and it’s so fun seeing all the additions to the family being made. I’m not over how good the push and pull is in some of the stories like this one! Paisley and Ridley were a bit more of a slow burn that others, but it was still very satisfying. Might I also recommend reading this while listening to the new Jonas Brothers album? Because the vibes are PEAK!
Definitely read Her Alpha’s Secret Baby (Book three in Her Alpha Series) and A Blushing Bride for Christmas if you want to read his brother and parents books first.😍
OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice read, a little longer than I usually read but so worth it.

Wow! This series is on fire and I'm loving every minute of it. Wine Country Alphas is delivering the steam, the drama, the instalove and HEAs.
Ambrosia Kisses is the second installment and carries they high standard from Whiskey Promises right through to this brilliant second chance at a first love romance.
Nichole knows how to write the most compatible couples, and despite this one having a heartbreak Ridley and Paisley are the ying to the others yang. They bring out the best in the other, and provide support for the other. It just so happens to be a perk that Paisley is best friends with Ridley's brother and his wife (Lucy and Oliver from A Blushing Bride for Christmas).
Miscommunication and misunderstanding play a part throughout the story, Paisley is slow to trust after believing she'd lost the love of her life the morning after they were together. Shortly after that she receives another devastating blow and her life crumbles around her. The same can be said for Ridley who believes what his brain conjures up rather than seeking out the truth direct from the source he believes the worse and misinterpreted a scene unfolding before him.
The time apart brings neither closer to happiness, as both are still caught up on one another. However the truth can only stay hidden for so long and soon the inevitable happens when both run into each other. The truth is finally revealed and it seems Ridley is ready to step up and claim his soul mate. But will history repeat itself?
What to expect 🍷 Interconnected Standalone (A Blushing Bride for Christmas, Her Alphas Secret Baby) 🍷 Interlinking Characters 🍷 Second Chance Romance 🍷 Dual POV 🍷 Misunderstanding / Misleading Appearances 🍷 Dual Virgins 🍷 Angst 🍷 No Cheating 🍷 Second Generation Romance 🍷 Alpha /Possessive MMC 🍷 Smart, Strong Curvy FMC 🍷 Mutual Pining 🍷 Heartbreak 🍷 Instalove 🍷 3 Year Time Jump 🍷 Steamy Scenes (straight in there from the start) 🍷 HEAs
Ambrosia Kisses is another 5 star read from Nichole Rose. I'm loving being back on the Vineyard and within the alpha-verse. I look forward to the next installment Bourbon Wishes.
This is book two in the author’s Wine Country Alphas series which also includes characters from other books, both standalone and multi author series. This book featured Ridley who was the older brother of Oliver from A Blushing Bride for Christmas (part of a multi author series, who married Lucy, the best friend of our FMC, Paisley). I must’ve missed that one but, after reading Ridley and Paisley’s story, I went straight to Amazon and bought it (I’ll be diving into it as soon as I’m finished with this review!).
This book is not to be missed! I absolutely loved it. There was some angst and heartbreak involved but it was SO worth it…and that’s from someone not really enthralled with angsty reads. Our MCs fell in love almost immediately after meeting but then didn’t hear or see from the other for three years but, no matter the pain and anger they felt, the love they had for the other never dimmed. It was simply perfection! Ridley was completely and unapologetically obsessed with Paisley which is something I crave in my romance reads. And wait until you find out where the title came from!!! You’ll absolutely melt!
There’s so much more I could say but, after you read this one, you’ll see exactly why I can’t wait to read Oliver and Lucy’s book. Suffice it to say, by the time you finish, Ridley (especially) and Paisley will own your heart; don’t let this languish in your TBR—grab it today! 5++ stars!!
I received a copy of this book for free from Instalove Influencers but am voluntarily leaving a review.
Ridley Goodson spent two weeks with Paisley Molina. His brother Oliver and Paisley’s best friend Lucy were getting married at the vineyard. The vineyard is owned by Ridley’s family. He and his cousins run it. Ridley doesn’t want to leave her, but he is scheduled to go to Italy for part of the vineyard expansion. Paisley is scheduled to go back to her second semester at Stanford for law school. The timing of their love affair is all wrong. Paisley wakes up the morning after the wedding alone in Ridley’s bed. She is told by one of his cousins that Bastian took Ridley to the airport already. Paisley thinks Ridley left for Italy without a goodbye and her heart is broken. She packs up her cabin and goes home to Stanford. Meanwhile, Ridley was at the airport canceling his flight and buying Paisley a ring. He gets back to the vineyard to find a note that Paisley had fun, but she is gone. He drives to Stanford and sees Paisley outside her dorm in the arms of another man. He thinks their night together didn’t matter and he drives away. He ends up going to Italy and stays there for three years.
Three years later and Ridley is back at the vineyard. He has been home for a couple of months. He sees Paisley’s car and knows that she is here visiting for his niece Lyra’s birthday. He is still not over her. Paisley finds out Ridley is back and she is not over him either.
Boy o Boy, what a big miscommunication mess. I was rooting for Ridley and Paisley to finally talk and hopefully get back together.
I'm loving this series from Nichole. Her books are light hearted (as in not dark romance), steamy and funny and this story was no different. Ridley and Paisley meet when her best friend and his brother get together and then married. When they meet, there's sparks that first night but she's going to school 3 hours away and he's supposed to be going to Italy for his family owned winery. There's a miscommunication and both end up hurt but instead of talking to each other, they run away in their own ways. Ridley goes to Italy and stays for basically 3 years, not coming home very often because he's afraid he will run into Paisley. Paisley ran back to law school and put up walls all around her heart. She was determined to move on with her life but when you find your other half, its not so easy. Time passes and they are both at the winery at the same time. They can't keep avoiding each other but neither wants to make the first move because they each think the other done them wrong. What happens when they both find out they are wrong? Can they find their way back to each other? 5⭐ 4 🌶
"Ambrosia Kisses" is the second book in the Wine Country Alphas series, and it’s such a delight! Ridley and Paisley first met at his brother's and best friend's wedding, where they shared an unforgettable night and fell head over heels for each other. But, unfortunately, a big misunderstanding drove them apart the next morning. Fast forward three years, and they’re back together again, only to realize that neither of them has truly moved on and that the sparks are still there!
Once they finally talk things through and uncover what really happened in the past, Ridley knows he can’t let Paisley go again. He’s ready to fight for their love! I just adore how richly the characters are written; it’s impossible not to fall in love with both Ridley and Paisley. Their second chance is filled with emotional healing and a slow build, but when they finally reconnect, it’s fireworks! I can’t wait to see who the next couple will be in this charming series!
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
OMG, Nichole Rose does NOT disappoint with Ridley and Paisley’s story! Three years ago, Ridley and Paisley experienced a lot of miscommunication, uncertainty, fear and assumptions that led to them breaking apart and believing the other had walked away and given up on their relationship. Now, after three years, they find themselves in the meeting back up and struggling with their individual misperceptions. Through several incidents, interference from meddling family members and forced interactions, they manage to work through them and repair their relationship. Ridley and Paisley have a lot of fire and spark between them, even outside of these issues. Watching them both learn about their individual mistakes and resulting impact and working to repair and recover from them together really enforces the connection they have. This is a solid world building book, where we see these characters get their full story, and interact with other characters we’ve encountered before. I absolutely loved this story and recommend it!
4.5⭐️ Another second generation love story on the winery! This one however was a second chance, lovers to enemies to lovers again story with lots of angst and miscommunications. It was beautifully written once again, and their chemistry was palpable, but I’m really not a miscommunication/second chance kind of girl. That’s a personal thing however, and that doesn’t take away from how it was written! They were both in the wrong, and I just wished they would have talked and fought for each other. Steamy scenes were immaculate though and he did turn more Alpha towards the middle/end. Ridley was very similar to his dad in his story “Her Alpha’s Secret Baby” so that was a fun throwback. A few editing errors, but not enough to pull me completely out of the story. No cheating or OM/OW even during their separation, 3 years apart, double virgins, no condom use, dual POV, HEA and an epilogue 3 years in the future. Was great seeing so many other book characters again, and can’t wait for Bastian’s story!
POV: Dual, First person Main Characters: Ridley and Paisley OW(M)/Cheating: No 3rd act breakup: No Instalove: I think there was but it was before the book started. Series: Wine Country Alphas, book 2 Spice: There’s some spicy fun. Writing: I couldn’t get into this one. It’s second chance and I feel like I missed the entirety of them falling in love. I feel like that it took 3 years for them to see each other again. I think something a lot sooner should have happened - especially since Ridley’s family is so involved but this one thing that they knew all the info for and wouldn’t share it with Ridley and Paisley? I didn’t find that believable. Editing: Probably one of the best edited books I’ve seen from Nichole. I don’t recall any typos. Read this author before: Yes Available on KU: Yes Trigger Warnings: Mentions loss of family member that was military Should you read it: I think so, even though it was a miss for me, I think there are many people that will love it.
Thank you, thank you Nichole Rose! Ambrosia Kisses could not have been a more perfect book! When we read A Blushing Bride for Christmas(Oliver and Lucy’s) story, we had a little snippet of Ridley and Paisley, and we have been waiting for their story. Ambrosia Kisses is once again a second generation story and it is amazing. Ridley and Paisley had one night, one night of passion, then one misunderstanding, one miscommunication and it was ripped away, and Paisley’s world was turned upside down. I do not want to give everything away, but let me say that I am loving these second generation stories by Nichole Rose, and once again Nichole has seamlessly brought characters from other books into this story, Trevor and Gracie, Oliver and Lucy, Lola, Braxton and Liam, and of course the other second generation men - I cannot wait until they get their stories!!! Love, love, love Ambrosia Kisses. I will never get enough of Nichole Rose’s books!!!
Paisley was hurt when after the unforgettable night she spent with Ridley to wake up alone however this hurt only increases when she is told he has left for Italy and didn’t say goodbye. Three years later she returns to the place where the heartbreak happened knowing that she might have to see him again but determined to be there for her friends.
A misunderstanding is what tore Ridley and Paisley apart even if neither of them realized it. Now that they are back in the same place at the same time the truth about what really happened will be revealed but will this be their second chance or are they destined for heartbreak once again?
The chemistry and connection between Paisley and Ridley is stronger than ever but so is the hurt they are both feeling. Ridley is determined to do whatever is necessary to win back Paisley’s heart and show her that there isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for her.
This is the 2nd book in the Wine Country Alphas series featuring Ridley and Paisley's sweet and steamy enemies to lovers (but they were lovers first), second chance romance. When Ridley and Paisley first met each other 3yrs ago they had an instant connection and they fell for each other. Unfortunately after an incredible evening together a huge misunderstanding drives them apart the next morning. They don't see each other again until 3yrs later when they recognize that the chemistry between them is still red HOT and strong. Will the two of them be able to figure things out now that they've been given a second chance at love? You really need to read this sweet and steamy enemies to (who were lovers first) second chance romance to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this book and I'm looking forward to the next book in this wonderful series! I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Second chance romance. Paisley is a young woman who has just finished her law studies, but while she is going to her best friend's wedding, she meets Ridley with whom she spends a magical night. But the next morning, he disappeared in Italy for three years, and now, three years later, he is grumpy and full of resentment towards her. Ridley works in the family vineyard, the day after his brother's wedding, he has to fly to Italy to help in a friend's vineyard. But when he meets Paisley, he knows he wants more than one night, but when he returns the next day, Paisley has disappeared. He then decides to leave, and his sadness pushes him to stay in Italy. Until now, where he finds himself at the vineyard at the same time as the magnificent Paisley. Will Ridley and Paisley be entitled to a second chance, or will their past separate them permanently…
It's heartbreaking and sad before it finally becomes beautiful, sweet, sexy and perfect. Theirs will never be a quiet and easy love, it's loud, wild, crazy and packed with fireworks, but it is true - they only ever want and need each other...they just need to learn to communicate! Ridley and Paisley are awesome characters but they are both quick to doubt and quick to jump to conclusions, their love is so big that they sometimes struggle to see past it and see the bigger picture. They are perfect for each other, they just have to learn to trust in their love and to....talk. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.
Pack your bags we are headed to wine country to meet some very handsome and persuasive men! Ambrosia Kisses is a second chance that will have the pages sizzling. Ridley and Paisley had very special weekend many years ago at wedding but misunderstanding a bit of stubbornness and not being face to face drew them apart. Now those same friends that were the reason years ago for their meeting is now how they find themselves face to face now. It is now time for Ridely to set the story straight and let Paisley know that she is the world to him!! ~~Michele McMullen~~
I am loving this second generation series so much! Ridley and Paisley were amazing characters in their own right, but the similarities and differences between their love story and that of Ridley's parents was a really great part of this story. I loved the hint at the elder Woodsons' troubled start, while also showing that this couple had a different path to take. Paisley has to be one of my favorite FMCs! She's feisty, stubborn, and witty while also being a great friend and so loving to those around her. And Ridley was so typically a Goodson, it was great! Highly recommend and can't wait for the next in the series!
This is book number 2 of the Wine Country Alphas and focuses on Ridley and Paisley. Paisley and Ridley fell hard for each other 3 years prior at Ridley's brothers wedding to Paisley's best friend. A series of misunderstandings on both sides led to immense heartbreak for both of them. When they see each other again after 3 years and Ridley discovers just how big of a mess was created, he is determined to win back the girl he never stopped loving. Him and Paisley were absolutely perfect for each other and loved each other fiercely. This was a great story and a great addition to the series!
I received a free copy of this book via the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was an amazing second chance story in the Wine Country Alphas series. Ridley and Paisley met at the wrong time in their lives but their connection was intense. There was some miscommunication after their night together which led them to several years apart. When they come back to the Winery, Paisley is determined to stay away from him. Ridley is not going to let this chance pass him by. He has been miserable for years now and when he discovers that she has been too. When the miscommunication comes to light, he will make sure that nothing will break them up again. Will they get this chance to make things right?
I received an ARC from the author/publisher for an honest review.
it was beautiful, I loved it. Paisley and raidley meet at his brother wedding and had a wonderful night together and fall in love. the next morning there is a misunderstanding so she go home to her brother's and he goes to Italy after he tries to go get her but see her with her brother and thinks its her boyfriends then her brother so he go to Italy for 3 years with a broken heart 💔. her heart is broken with lossing raidley then loosing her brother in the military. so when they get together she is broken. it was very emotional but I love how it plays out in the end it great.
This book was so cute. I mean, it came in hot and then things went bonkers and three years later they need to figure it out. The ending was just so cute and I absolutely adored it. This is totally a second chance type of book. Where miscommunication and misunderstanding kinda takes over and causes nothing but heartache. However, it is one of those things that just has to work out and I loved the journey this book took me on. I love that I know who the next alpha will be and excited to see what else goes down in this series!
Paisley and Ridley's story is more emotional than the first book in the series. I had all kinds of emotions while reading their story: sadness, grief, anger, frustration, happiness, and most importantly hope. A great story that kept intrigued throughout the book. Loved Paisley and Ridley. The whole family is amazing. I liked that Nichole Rose went a different angle with this book and how it incorporated Ridley's parents's story. Absolutely loved it. 5 stars!!
When there is a whole lot of miscommunication between both parties. And assumptions and not speaking up on things. They could have both been in each other's lives but on the other hand they probably needed to be apart to grow. This book really made me look at things from both perspectives. So yes I'm neural I didn't choose Rileys or Paisleys side they were both right in how they felt.
