My view on the existence of ghosts or spirits is like my belief in God - I tend towards being agnostic in that there has been no definitive proof that God exists or doesn't exist, but like the ancient Romans believed about the gods of others, what's the harm in covering all bases just in case!
In a purely entertainment capacity, I thought this was pretty good. I've never seen Mia's TV show or really read anything else about her but thought she came across quite well. The 'cases' of haunted homes were intriguing to read about although there was some repetition in what was said etc. If you're interested in the world of psychic mediums, then this would be probably be a good start. Nothing too over the top.
I've watched the series on tv and most of them appeared in this book too. I noticed that Mia Dolan added certain incidents in this book which is totally different from the series. Great book but left me confused with some haunted homes and her thoughts.
Took a while to get through..not the best of her books but still interesting. Just each house visited were very similar and started to get a bit bored which is why it took so long to read.
